Last thing ill say on the CFP/G5 discourse I’m disappointed that people with massive platforms (not naming names) who claim to love CFB are the ones who are beating down G5s and saying they don’t belong in the playoff Whether they do or not (they do imo) isn’t the issue - the issue is you have people with a responsibility to uphold a game we love and they don’t seem to realize the harm they are doing to that very game with how they characterize those schools The playoff needs to get figured out. In the meantime, don’t demean half the country. You folks have no idea how hard those guys work year round. They don’t need people saying their games don’t matter. Don’t claim to love a sport and then crap all over it in the same breath. We have to stay united against the greed aiming to bring the sport down

Instead of some people making all these excuses to exclude the Group of 5 out of the College Football Playoff, JUST TELL THE TRUTH. Power 4 teams and the big brands bring better ratings, more money and the expectation of a better game even if they get blown out too. Be honest about why you want to step on the little guy. Don’t pee on them and tell them it’s raining.

99% of the issues the CFP is facing would be fixed if they got rid of auto-bids an just put the top 12 teams in. There shouldn’t be a special carve out for any conference, and that includes the G5. If you want to make the CFP, finish in the top 12.
