Tunnels found under a NYC, Jewish Synagogue. I see a lot of conspiracy theories and the usual Anti Semitic tropes. A little background on Chabad, also known as the Lubavitch Hasidim The iconic building in this story, 770 eastern pkwy is located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It was built in 1920, over 100 years old. All the nearby properties are owned by the community, built by the late Grand rebbe (Rabbi/Leader), who died in 1994. Almost all of the buildings in NYC built in the early 1900s have large basements or rooms and so-called tunnels. connecting to adjacent buildings, some connected buildings are schools, and some are used as dormitories for students who are who come from all over the world to study at 770. This synagogues basement, like many others, also housed an old Women's Mikve, (Ritual Bath House) that's no longer in use. Multiple large rooms can also be found downstairs, which serves as a study hall, as well as a food hall. where students study The Torah (Jewish Bible). Let me address many of the conspiratorial and Anti Semitic statements I've seen all over X. (1) The location from where the young boys came out of behind the panels is in the main prayer hall located on the first floor. That's the part they dug out to connect to the rest of the basement during covid when NYC forced all houses of worship to shut down. They accessed the basement thru a different building with a connecting corridor. So, not to be seen going into the synagogue by the authorities. The regular entrance to the downstairs study/food halls is located right outside the main prayer hall. (2) The so-called kids mattress with allegedly blood stains. (a) That's a typical thin mattress that is used in almost all dormitories housing students. (b) Have you ever seen a motel mattress underneath the linen after 1000s of people slept on that bed! These mattresses have been used by 1000s of students at the dorms in adjacent buildings. Typical soiled mattress, not blood. (c) mattress was an attempt to soundproof with hopes it not be discovered by the rest of the community. Remember, these are adult teenagers between 18 and 20 years old doing what teenagers do in a yeshiva type setting. (they cause trouble) (3) babies highchair May very well have been there from the time the Women's Mikve was operational. Possibly for the Mikve attendant to act as a babysitter for the ladies. Hasidic Jews on average, have between 5 and 8 kids. Crown Heights Hasidic population is roughly 20%, with thousands of families mothers might choose to bring the baby along. I think I covered it all

@InputEndorsers For example, ADA has a lower Nakamoto coefficient than Solana 27 vs 33, a famously VC led chain. Combined with the fact that the incentive structure of ADA incentivizes running multiple pools/nodes (sybil attack) the nakamoto coefficient of 27 show by CRFA is much likely lower.

True decentralization is the reason why Cardano is going for number 1 👀👇

⚠️ Cardano Wallet Drainers ⚠️ Recently, we've seem more advanced scam tactics, leading to users signing malicious transactions. While the community was debating the terminology of a "wallet drainer," I thought of the MOST EFFECTIVE technique a scammer could use to build a wallet drainer on Cardano. This technique would completely obfuscate the transaction summary, making it useless or even actively harmful. So the statement "just read the transaction summary" is no longer helpful. In response, I drafted a CIP that will help mitigate this attack, ensuring that transaction summaries are as accurate as possible and that the wallet warns the user if it isn't. github.com/cardano-founda… Thank you to @adamKDean for working with me this holiday season to quietly get this CIP ready for release. We were very aware that releasing this CIP could be putting a blueprint in the hands of scammers while wallet devs are away on holiday breaks. I have spoke with the teams of several wallets already, so they are aware of this attack vector and my CIP to mitigate it. I am excited to hear feedback from the general community! Stay safe everyone 💜

@InputEndorsers 25 billion plus ADA sold in presale and included in genesis block at genesis, do the mental math estimations on % sharehold increase since genesis via staking and you tell me if it is VC owned or not. 😆

@Endangered_Army Not sure if on-chain analytics would tell a different story sir. Cardano in 2021 was being built almost exclusively by IOG, now the community is developing new smart contract languages (AIken, Plutarch...), penning Cardano Improvement Proposals (CIPs), etc... sir.

I asked: How do you know if you can afford a $2,000 mattress? The answers are blowing my mind. They reveal why so many Americans overspend and don't even realize it. The majority of the responses said: - A good mattress is a great investment! (A mattress is not an investment, it's a purchase) - It's not that expensive! (Compared to what?) - I really need to sleep well (That's a preference, not an answer to if you can afford it) 1. TO DECIDE IF YOU CAN AFFORD SOMETHING, YOU NEED TO USE ACTUAL NUMBERS. Guys, your feelings do not decide if you can afford something. To answer the affordability question, we have to know REAL NUMBERS including your income, debt, emergency fund, and investments. 2. THIS PERSON CANNOT AFFORD A $2,000 MATTRESS: If you're 77 years old with a $25K income and no investments, you cannot afford a $2,000 mattress! 3. THIS PERSON CAN: On the other hand, if you're 45 with 3 months of emergency fund, a paid off car, and a 6% net investment rate, you can probably afford (or save to afford) that mattress 4. DON'T CONFUSE DESIRE WITH AFFORDABILITY In the answers we see the extremely common conflation of feelings with affordability. Because it's "sleep" -- which in American culture is prized above almost everything else -- the commenters have invented reasons to justify affording it. Yes, sleep is important, but that doesn't answer the question of whether you can afford it. 5. A MATTRESS IS NOT AN INVESTMENT. And no, we can't call a mattress an investment, because an investment produces a financial return, and if you could simply use the logic of "an investment in my sleep is good," then you can use the same logic for vicuna jackets ("the fabric makes me feel good, which makes me more productive"), handbags ("makes me more confident"), and personal training ("health"). Those are all luxuries. It's OK to acknowledge you want a luxury! Not everything has to be camouflaged with justification as an "investment." 6. COULD YOU APPLY THE SAME LOGIC TO A $2,000 SWEATER? OF COURSE NOT. Consider an analogy: If I said, "How do you know if you can afford a $2,000 sweater?" you would not say "cashmere is really important to me" (as so many people responded about how important sleep is -- not an answer!). You would also not say, "If you hold the sweater for 10 years, it's actually a good deal" (because while true, that doesn't take into account income, debt, etc, nor does it account for the same result with a purchase half the price. And of course you wouldn't call a sweater an investment, because it's a luxury -- just as a $2,000 mattress is, with all the competitive options available at a fraction of the price. 7. TO KNOW IF YOU CAN AFFORD SOMETHING, YOU MUST USE NUMBERS. If you're wondering how to know if you can afford something, you absolutely, positively must factor in REAL NUMBERS. Your age, income, savings, net worth -- all of it. Your feelings alone do not tell you anything about affordability.
