Trump: "There are windmills all over Europe. There are windmills all over the place. And they are losers. One thing I've noticed is that the more windmills a country has, the more money that country loses, and the worse that country is doing. China make almost all of the windmills, and yet I haven't been able to find any wind farms in China. Did you ever think of that? They put up a couple big wind farms but they don't use them, they just put them up to show people what they could look like. They don't spin, they don't do anything."

You can fix paying for unusable green electricity by just having the secretary of state permit the building of power lines. You can't get out of contractual high energy prices, unless you want to legislate to get the government out of them. And then who is going to do business with you. Just don't sign up to stupid prices in the first place!

The sheer insanity of UK energy Today we buy North Sea gas from Norway. Because we've strangled our own North Sea gas industry We burn it to make electricity ('ccgt') And then send electricity BACK to Norway. ('IC Nsl') This is nuts! NetZero sends people mad!

England need to build six nuclear power stations to meet its demand, the English just don't want them built in England, so the "but British" will try and shame Scots into thinking we should accommodate them.

The SNP’s ideological hostility towards nuclear energy is holding Scotland back. Torness Power Station not only supports many local jobs but it can supply electricity to up to two-million homes. It was great to visit, meet the team and show my support for our nuclear industry.
