At NACE’s Annual Conference this morning, @USDOTFHWA Administrator Sean McMaster provided a keynote address stressing the important role counties play in ensuring the nation’s road and bridge network remains safe and efficient. Congratulations to NACE President-Elect, Pam Dingman! Pam was recently awarded the 2025 Nebraska Women in Transportation Woman of the Year for advancing women in all areas of transportation and advocating for transportation projects. We are incredibly proud of this NACE leader!

Polk County, MN received the Roads and Bridges Award for Hot in Place Recycle on their County State Aid Highway 9 from the Red River of the North to US Route 75 in Crookston, MN. The award was presented at the 2026 AEMA-ARRA-ISSA Annual Meeting. Presenting the award was Gavin Jenkins, Senior Managing Editor for @roadeditor. Donn Johnson, Dustrol, Inc. was also presented a plaque. The CSAH 9 project will be featured in March’s edition of Roads and Bridges.

During our recent fly-in, we had the opportunity to meet with @USDOTFHWA Administrator Sean McMaster to discuss NACE infrastructure, grant and reauthorization priorities. We thank the Administrator and his team for the productive conversation and look forward to working with him to better our nation’s local road network.

During NACE’s 2026 legislative fly-in, we continued the conversation with @TransportGOP about county priorities in the upcoming surface transportation re-authorization.

NACE members gathered in our nation’s capital for their annual fly in. Visiting with ⁦@TransportGOP⁩,@EPA⁩,and ⁦@USDOTFHWA⁩,we shared our thoughts and priorities as Congress debates a new highway bill and opportunities to provide real and lasting regulatory reform.

At @NACoCounties Legislative Conference, NACE President Jacob Thorius provided an update on our activities and efforts to ensure a safe and prosperous national infrastructure network.
