The more I use classic bioinformatic tools, e.g. bwa and vcftools, the more I dislike current trends in bioinformatic tooling; pipelines are nice but if I want to test out your method the first step shouldn't be "set up a Terra/GCP/AWS account."

I really hope that some of the research being presented at GCC2021 puts to bed the myth that @galaxyproject is "not for big data" or "doesn't scale". From 1000s of SARS-CoV-2 analyses per day to Remote File support for cloud hosted datasets to GPU enabled Jupyter #UseGalaxy
