This #NationalRuralHealthDay, I want to recognize the incredible rural health care providers in Cochise, Pinal, Graham, and Greenlee counties whose work day in and day out addresses the unique health care needs of our rural communities. Recently, I’m proud to have led multiple efforts to bring AZ its fair share of the Rural Health Transformation Program created by the Working Families Tax Cut Act. In October, I also joined the bipartisan Congressional Rural Caucus to be a voice in D.C. for our rural health communities. Our rural hospitals and clinics are lifelines—we can’t leave any AZ community behind.

🚨TODAY: The Senate will vote on legislation to end the shutdown. House Republicans did our job – let's see if Senate Democrats will get on board to support our federal workers who are negatively impacted because of their actions. The longer this goes on, the more damage will be done.
