Pleased to join @DrTedros to witness #Angola’s efforts to strengthen primary health care. With support from the European Union, we handed over a new ambulance and 30 laptops to strengthen emergency services and the national health information system. @WHO remains committed to working with Angola to build stronger and more resilient health services for all.

Privileged to join key discussions at the #WorldHealthSummit on advancing sustainable solutions for NCDs. To achieve real progress on NCDs, we must move from declarations to delivery, through partnerships, investment and innovation. @WHOAFRO is supporting countries to turn commitments into integrated, people-centred solutions.

Honoured to join the Independent Monitoring Board in Geneva this week — my sincere thanks to Sir Liam, IMB Chair, for his leadership. Proud of Africa’s progress, with the polio type 1 outbreak closed in Madagascar and DRC pushing forward. Let’s keep working to #EndPolio.

📍Dar es Salaam ▪️RAIS SAMIA NA RAIS MSTAAFU KIKWETE WAPONGEZWA KWA KUFANIKISHA USHINDI WA PROFESA JANABI KATIKA UCHAGUZI WA MKURUGENZI WA WHO KANDA YA AFRIKA Na Mwandishi `Maalumu Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mhe. Dkt.
