@lquail13 @ABDanielleSmith I pay my taxes why shouldn’t my kid get the same funding if I wanted to put him in a private school. If that school wants to charge on top of that I can choose to pay or not. You want smaller classes but at the same time you want more kids in that class. Makes zero sense

We all want a fair agreement that teachers can support. Teachers, parents, and students deserve stability. Twice, agreements were reached by union leadership but not ratified by teachers including: ✅ 12-17% salary increase ✅ 3,000 new teachers to reduce class sizes ✅ 1500 educational assistants to support teachers I am urging the ATA leadership to engage with teachers, determine what supports they need, and come back to the bargaining table so we can get a deal that keeps kids in the classroom.
