@memizon I'd argue that most myths and legends from ancient times have a lot of similarities to "high strangeness" entity encounters. In the Book of Daniel, the prophet's interactions with angels are extremely similar to contactee tales from the 50s. Greek myths also abound in weird stuff

I am looking into some, what they call, high strange UFO encounters. Some very, very unusual, truly bizarre accounts. Where and why did high strangeness invade the UFO phenomenon? Did it start in the 1960's, coinciding with the tune in, turn on, drop out counterculture movement?
