There were times this season when I'd probably have taken 9th if offered it. Sean Crighton however, said absolutely fuck that. What a hero; he's done a truly incredible job.

300 HOURS of MARATHON Thoughts/Review: Only 2% of players have hit Level 100 in Marathon. I think Steam Charts do reflect player retention to an extent but the game has a good foundation with a fun replayable endgame activity that 99% of players haven't even been able to experience yet. So long as Bungie keeps improving the new player experience (so people eventually reach Level 100+ and actually experience full endgame loadouts/gameplay) and keeps on dropping more content like Cryo Archive the game will be fine in the long run. It's not a perfect game by any means but I can think of more positives than negatives. Future features that I'd like to see: - Social Hub (Tower) - Practice Range - Arena/Warm Up Deathmatch game mode After 300 hours, the gameplay loop is starting to get a little repetitive as I only hop online to check barters and do Cryo runs every weekend. I'm sure with the addition of more Marathon ship maps and more variety in endgame content it will improve. Ranked is an unenjoyable experience 90% of the time. When it is a lobby of legit players it can be fun on certain maps, but there is no incentive to play it besides the cosmetics. Higher loot drops at higher ranks and in-game leaderboards would be nice. But overall, just remove Ranked as a whole and release a PvE game mode if the cheating situation doesn't improve in my opinion. The real highlight of the game is Cryo Archive to me. I'm looking forward to the wipe in Season 2 and the new Runner coming with it.

Does any action get taken against the officials when this happens? It was genuinely such a bad and now proven to be objectively wrong decision.

@GKerr9905 You're still making things up and getting annoyed about them. I don't know how to make it clearer that us playing badly and the ref being terrible are completely separate things.

@EnzoT_56 @SpidersTalkPod I think you can see though that it’s a genuine clip/trip, not intentional or late from Murray, just Vaughany’s cut inside of Murray and it’s a coming together, but ultimately he’s tripped. 100% penalty.

Kevin Clancy, everyone. You won't find us denying that we were poor even before the first goal, but if our top refs are giving penalties when there's no contact and straight reds that are arguably fouls the other way then it's no wonder none of them got picked for the World Cup.

@SpidersTalkPod Murray clips Vaughany’s foot though, it’s absolutely a penalty. I’ve been critical in the past for LV diving, but that’s not a dive. I do think the red is harsh though, probably worthy of a yellow though. Standard of Ref’s across the board are stinking though 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
