🚨 May 5: Netherlands RDW presents Tesla FSD Article 39 update at EU TCMV meeting!
Do you think other EU member states will follow the Netherlands and also apply for national type-approval via Article 39?
I expect a lot of countries will jump on board right after May 5 👀
(And yes, Dutch influencer videos will probably be shown in the presentation 😂)

FSD Supervised in Europe: Video number 2: turning around in a very narrow dead end street. Taken in Tilburg, The Netherlands yesterday. In this video you see how the @tesla turns around in an extremely narrow dead end street. The question was: does it back up or choose to turn around. It chose to turn around. It performed very well and what was mostly interesting was that there was a curb involved. The software is created in a way where it should stay away from the curbs, and it initially did. But later in the turning process it changed approach and drove over the curve a little bit to make the turn smoother. That’s what blows my mind every time, the software is created in a way where if needed it changes plan to make things more smooth or even safer. Furthermore in this video you see how it takes some thresholds very smoothly. It also brakes a bit more in the end because of a bike in front of us. Very fascinating moment for us to experience! @teslaeurope @Tesla_Calle @elonmusk

🚨 Just got the 2026.3.7 software update downloading on my Model Y “Dolphin” (50% done)!
Mostly minor fixes & improvements according to Tesla. Can’t wait to see if it makes FSD even smoother in Europe.

🚨 European Tesla owners, the moment we’ve all been waiting for years is almost here.
Only 3 days left until April 10, when the Dutch RDW is expected to decide on approving FSD Supervised in the Netherlands.
Tesla Europe has already completed the final vehicle testing phase together with RDW, submitted all required documentation for UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions, and says the system has proven itself on European roads.
If the RDW gives the green light (and expectations are high after all the delays from February to March to now April), what happens next?
- Immediate rollout in the Netherlands is very likely.
- For the rest of the EU: many countries could recognize the Dutch approval nationally, with a broader EU-wide rollout potentially following in summer 2026 through mutual recognition or European Commission steps.
The big question for all of us patient Europeans: how quickly does Tesla actually activate FSD in our cars once approval hits?
In other markets, Tesla has pushed the OTA software update very fast, often within days to a week for existing FSD purchasers. Sometimes they start with a wave rollout, or offer a short free trial period first. Will it be the same here? Will owners who already bought FSD get priority access, followed by subscriptions @elonmusk @teslaeurope ?

@CernyLibor @TSLA_inside_ Overall it's really understandable and you can follow everything perfectly well, but certain words still come out a bit off and every now and then it randomly slips in a word or phrase from another language.

@TSLA_inside_ Does Grok have a heavy accent in Dutch? It does in Czech and I am pretty sure they won’t release it in the Czech market until speaks like a native. Same for all other languages in the same situation.
