Great meeting with the New Brunswick Multicultural Council today! We discussed the future of immigration in our province and role of NBMC in welcoming newcomers. Collaboration between our Government, NBMC, and local partners is imperative to strengthen the settlement sector and support newcomer integration. -- Rencontre très productive, aujourd’hui, avec le Conseil multiculturel du Nouveau-Brunswick! Nous avons discuté de l’avenir de l’immigration dans notre province et du rôle du CMNB dans l’accueil des nouveaux arrivants. La collaboration entre notre gouvernement, le CMNB et les partenaires locaux est essentielle pour renforcer le domaine de l’accompagnement des nouveaux arrivants et efficacement soutenir leur intégration.

Great news for healthcare in New Brunswick! 10 new internationally-trained physicians are ready to serve New Brunswickers thanks to the success of the Practice Ready Assessment program. They will soon be seeing patients in Campbellton, Dalhousie, Moncton, Bathurst, Miramichi and Woodstock as part of family health teams providing care to between 10,000 to 15,000 New Brunswickers. -- Excellente nouvelle pour les soins de santé au Nouveau-Brunswick ! Dix nouveaux médecins formés à l’international sont prêts à servir la population grâce au succès du programme Évaluation de la capacité à exercer au Nouveau-Brunswick. Ils commenceront bientôt à voir des patients à Campbellton, à Dalhousie, à Moncton, à Bathurst, à Miramichi et à Woodstock au sein d’équipes de santé familiale qui fourniront des soins à entre 10 000 et 15 000 Néo-Brunswickoises et Néo-Brunswickois.
