The New Helicopter Facility is a state-of-the-art greenfield facility established for the production of Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) and Prachand LCH and will support future programmes such as Indian Multi Role Helicopter (IMRH), and Deck-based Multi Role Helicopter (DBMRH).

A high-level delegation from GE Aerospace, led by Rita Flaherty, VP Sales & Business Development, visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bengaluru today. The team met Dr. D K Sunil, CMD, HAL, Shri Ravi K, Director (Operations) & senior leadership to discuss progress on the GE F404 engines & ongoing discussions on the GE F414 programme.

This achievement was made possible despite the challenges faced in deliveries of LCA Mk1A & HTT 40 due to supply chain issues arising from geopolitical and technical challenges. However, deliveries of ALH, AL31-FP, RD-33 engines, & other products and services were accelerated, helping maintain the top line and healthy profitability.

HAL’s order book remained healthy at around Rs 2.54 lakh crores as on 31st March 2026, against the opening order book position of Rs 1.89 lakh crores, after adjusting current-year liquidation. The increase is mainly due to the signing of major orders with the MoD for the supply of 97 Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk1A aircraft for Rs 62,370 crores, six ALH CG for Rs 2,704 crores & eight Dornier CG for Rs 2,186 crores.

“HAL has shown resilience & maintained steady growth despite geopolitical tensions, global conflicts, & supply chain challenges in the aerospace & defence sectors. During the past year, HAL strengthened its order pipeline, expanded its manufacturing capability & diversified into the civil segment to support future growth,” said Dr. D K Sunil, CMD, HAL.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) recorded a revenue of Rs. 32,250 crores (provisional and unaudited) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, as against the revenue of Rs. 30,981 crores during the previous year.

A high-level delegation headed by H.E. Dharamkumar Seeraj, High Commissioner of Guyana to India, along with Mr. Brian Tiwarie, CEO – JAGS Aviation, Guyana and Mr. Bhushan Kumar, CFO – JAGS Aviation, visited HAL on February 25, 2026.
