Someone said on here that the way muslims have been massacred in Palestine with total impunity and a lack of international intervention has emboldened anyone who hates muslims in all parts of the world. And I couldn't agree more. These things are all connected.

.@GMB need to make a public apology to @zarahsultana. Not only was it appalling, the way she was treated, but there will be people watching their show who will think it acceptable to treat people like her in such a manner. Just disgraceful. Given recent events even more so.

Funny how Suella Braverman called the almost 100% peaceful protest events for the people of #Gaza ‘hate marches’ but she seems to have absolutely nothing to say about violent English Nazi terrorism, some of which she legitimised. A complete disgrace to politics and her country.

You put Suella Braverman in charge. You called asylum seekers “illegal immigrants”, knowing they’re not. You gave money, millions, to Rwanda instead of funding the processing of asylum applications. You placated the far-right with ever more violent rhetoric. You did this.

The way Zarah Sultana was treated by Good Morning Britain's hosts and panellists this morning was nothing short of appalling. Ask tough questions – she's used to it! – but the sneering and constant interrupting when she was trying to talk about the realities of racism and Islamophobia as the only person of colour on set came across as completely callous and tone-deaf.

Suella Braverman had the utter audacity to call Pro Palestine Marches,"Hate marches." Yet she's very quiet about very real far right hatred on our streets this week.

Muslims are messaging each other with advice on how to stay safe and areas to avoid because of the far-right. And some folk are moaning about whether we should term thugs with swastikas tattooed on their backs who are attacking mosques, as far-right? Yeah, you're the problem.

Achaar is not pickle. English doesn't have a word for achaar. Achaar is a glorious explosion of flavours. A pickle is a depressed cucumber that drowned in vinegar. They are not the same.

I've learned that key to getting anything you want, is simply to leave it in the hands of Allah and submit to him completely. Just focus on being a better muslim and I promise you Allah will Himself put that thing in your hands, in such a way that you'd never have expected.

Unimaginably horrific scenes in Rafah last night. An Israeli airstrike hit tents housing displaced Palestinians, slaughtering men, women and children. Israel's blatant defiance of the International Court of Justice must be met with action – starting with a ban on arms sales.

Palestinian children should wake up feeling excited to go to school and play with their friends. Instead, for those murdered in Rafah, their last moments on this earth were filled with unimaginable fear as bombs rained down on their tents. What a monstrous failure of humanity.
