That will pressure those to rethink some things if that would be 5 years at that average not including PAC 12 Enterorises$.

I’d guess TXST PAC distribution will be around $6M in total since you don’t get full media money.
Washington St diatribution includes 1.6M of old PAC-12 money that TXST won’t get and who knows what you’ll get from PAC enterprises.
To be sure, TXST is the biggest winner in this.

A: It really doesn’t matter what you think most people want.
B: I know a lot of group of 6 AD’s/ schools do want it. 98% of them can’t compete especially in the unlimited transfer/NIL era. I don’t need the data from several years ago. That was pre NIL where kids had to sit to transfer and were locked into their school. The gap will just get bigger and bigger.
C: if it falls under the CFP and $ is part of the equation, it becomes a lot more attractive.
D. I love the idea and would watch it. I watch FCS. I think a lot of folks that don’t “want” feel it devalues their school and they aren’t wrong. There’s a reason SEC student enrollment is at a high.

I'm probably in the absolute minority here but I'll just say it .. so what? Isn't that just living within reality? The P4 and G6 are in different worlds *right now* and they probably should be in different divisions already.
Wouldn't it be better to just admit reality and have your own really fun playoff?

I hate Florida more than anything, but their facilities are better. Dan’s been known to exaggerate things. They also have upgraded some things since he left. You may have a point on the stadium if it were full and had the same atmosphere. It doesn’t. I can promise you If Georgia called Dan tonight, he’d be on the next plane out, regardless of if UNLV gets a A4 invite. That’s not a shot at UNLV, it’s just reality. Now if Rutgers calls, he’s probably staying at UNLV.

My issue is the 2023 high school class got the shaft from Covid free years. They need to let that class get a 5th year. So this years juniors. Scholarships were taken and given to kids granted covid free years and then they had to compete for spots for 3 years against kids with extra years. The least they can do is add a 5th to them to start and waive scholarship/roster limits for the 3 years the current college kids are in school.

The NCAA is inviting feedback regarding the 5 Yr Eligibility Model that is set to be put to a vote (and likely implemented) on May 22. I still think there are a lot of unanswered questions and fallout that have not been throughly analyzed given the speed at which this has come to pass. The email to provide feedback is eligibilitymodel@ncaa.org. I’ve sent my two cents (ok maybe two dollars worth) and expect it will fall on deaf ears but at least I’ve got my anticipated concerns documented when they become reality.
