Unfortunately, I'm still having issues with my X account. Grok recommended I take a week off. I have FSD test videos I'll post on YouTube. Few people may see this post; if you do, please repost. Thanks. youtube.com/shorts/zHgkkLS…

I saw my first Cybercab - Detroit April 28th. @elonmusk Please sell the Cybercab in Illinois ASAP. Even if you must sell them with temporary control (to be removed at a tesla service center once the regulations allow private ownership of an AV in illinois). The Cybercab is the perfect retirement vehicle.

@JoeTegtmeyer I agree with @farzyness, Musk has been sandbagging, and Tesla will announce a $25K Model 2 this year (Cybercab with controls). America needs a low-cost EV. We do not want CCP spy balloons on wheels in America.

Happy 8 April (Wednesday) at Giga Texas, especially for those wanting an update on Cybercabs … I saw about 60 of them in two groups in the outbound lot today … the largest grouping yet! Also, looks like at least some of these have white seats and most still have clearly visible steering wheels … I will let you conclude what you wish from that, but these still do not look like the final “production” versions, so perhaps they are testing out some of the new features while testing some of the @robotaxi areas around the country.

@farzyness @JoeTegtmeyer I hope you are right (not about the joystick but the steering wheel and pedals)!

My dream car, a Cybercab with a steering wheel and pedals (a Model 2). In the future, when regulators catch up with technology, I would bring my Model 2 to a Tesla service station and they would remove the controls. It is the perfect car for my needs (2 seater with big trunk, AI4, and plastic body panels). I use FSD for every drive, but I am sure my garbage state (Illinois) will make life as difficult as it can for Tesla to allow FSD unsupervised. I expect my state to be one of the last to allow it.

@elonmusk I drive from Chicago to Detroit and back every month on FSD (300 miles one way) in all weather. Through Chicago traffic and I94 road construction. I only touch the steering wheel when I have to park at a charger (AI3 does not back into charger spots). I listen to an audiobook.

Test-drove a Cybertruck yesterday. It fits my garage like a sumo wrestler in skinny jeans—barely. Ordered the AWD $60K beast anyway. Don’t need a truck, but the vision of my wife chauffeured through the city in an apocalyptic armored limo via FSD is too delicious to pass up.

@elonmusk We need to be careful. Socialists around the world are pushing for a digital ID. I could see the Democrats suing this as an opportunity to get Digital ID in the door.

@elonmusk has to stop being so generous. No more donations to Ukraine. They got $90Billion from the EU, let them pay for Starlink. Ukraine hates Musk even though they admit that his generosity has been critical to their war effort. It is insanity! The Starlink dilemma | Ukraine This Week youtu.be/qCC0GQUCsBc?si… via @YouTube

AI improves exponentially because it isn't limited by human timescales. Programming is limited by human timescales but training can be done at machine speed. A human did not program FSD to pull over for the ambulance, humans created a "lesson plan" to teach FSD to pull over for ambulances. This exponential improvement is hard for humans to understand because we think in linear terms. We know for a fact that a car can be driven with vision only, we know for a fact that a car can be pulled over using vision only. I think this linear thinking is why some people have such a hard time believing that FSD could pull over for an ambulance. We saw the exponential growth with LLM's, physical AI is in the same part of the improvement curve that LLM's were X years ago. Where LLM's have run out of quality text to learn from, physical AI has the whole world to learn from.

My first unsupervised @robotaxi ride here in Austin! Come along with me on this 1st experience of driving around Austin with just me in the car and in the back seat! Congrats to the @Tesla_AI team! 🤠👍

1) It would be easy for the software to make the right door handle a emergency stop switch. 2) The screen had at least one additional icon that a @DrKnowItAll16 video shows the safety tester putting his finger over when FSD dis something interesting. The real question, does it matter. An engineer understands that having a safety switch for a test like this is SOP. Unfortunately, Tesla does not need to convince engineers about the safety of FSD. Tesla needs to convince the public about the safety of FSD.

Apparently this is a big conspiracy. Did the safety monitors in the Tesla Robotaxi’s yesterday have any sort of controls - emergency stop, a way to accelerate, anything? Many images show the safety monitors all had their hands firmly on the right door handle (see image below).
