Open sourcing the San Francisco playground! It's now multiplayer with a map you can use to teleport all around, and you can switch between walking, driving, boating, and flying a drone, plane, or phoenix (using mouse/keyboard or controller) . When you get close to others you can talk with them using webrtc. No account signup needed, just enter a name and start exploring. You can also share a link from anywhere in the city with a friend and they'll hop in right next to you Fable did a great job finding all the open source data on SF, using that to create the buildings, roads, etc in blender, and building the pipeline to chunk it up and optimize it for streaming in threejs. For specific landmarks that I wanted to look nicer then the low poly automated structures, I gave claude screenshots of and asked it to create a higher quality version of the structure . Currently adding in some interactive exhibits like a fluid sim and an immersive music dome into the exploratorium. Awesome! That sounds great, I've been using cleanshot or asking agents to render shots, and both seem to look great locally, but when I upload them to twitter there's noticeable resolution loss and way more artifacts. Will definitely experiment with incorporating the wisdom within the eidoverse repo to bring up the quality for next time, thanks for sharing! 🌇

testing arbitrary modeling with GPT-5.6-Sol and yes, they're A LOT better than that z-fighting horrid mess that took a week to build an OSM 3d maps reskin, lol ... still seeing the edges here, holes in front and back, rudder not connected, crows next intersecting, etc.

how good is GPT 5.6 Sol at complex road topology? (second pass) the core library is quite stable now, however it is still making quite a lot of mistakes in lane-merging situations, especially on special lanes such as bicycle lanes some roundabout cases are pretty solid, but the grammar overall is still inconsistent. this is at the point where it could theoretically produce very convincing 3D procedural road systems, however i want to squeeze it a bit more if possible, it could mean potentially that road authoring software for city planning is ready for some disruption (as well as open world games in my use case)

how good is GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra at complex road topology? I gave it 100 test cases to produce and verify, here are the results after the first pass So far it appears to be improved in its vision capabilities compared to 5.5, however it still seems to make the same mistake as Fable by doubling down on wrong assumptions (looking for an easy verifiable fact on a road screenshot case and completely ignoring a huge hole it should've seen) AGI has not been achieved i'm afraid Banger model tho, ngl, we'll see what it looks like after a couple more iterations.

Day 3 of building a snowboarding game with Fable 5🏂 Now you can run from a polar bear while doing flips. A bunch of big improvements including a new snowboard, physics and snow quality, expanded terrain all playable with an xbox one controller. All in raw Webgpu, no engine.

I downloaded @cursor_ai to try out the new Grok 4.5. Within minutes I added tool/weapon stowing so you can take things with you in vehicles without needing to drop them. Worked first time! What a time to be alive!
