God's Word never changes!

A historic crowd of 15,500 people packed into the Chizhovka Arena in Minsk, Belarus, tonight to hear the good news that “…the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). One man shared that he had planned to end his life last Tuesday, but was not successful. He came tonight, heard the Gospel, and found true hope by putting his faith and trust in Christ. We give God the glory for his life—and for the hundreds of others who turned from their sins and surrendered their hearts to the only One who can save for eternity—the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful to the churches and pastors who prayed so many years for this. For the past week, Christians across this country have been praying 24 hours a day, and tonight we saw God answer those prayers and move in a mighty way. This was the largest evangelical gathering in the history of Belarus, and it was the first time anything like this has ever happened in the country. I also want to express my gratitude to the phenomenal orchestra, musicians, soloists, and to the 1,300-member choir. They came from 43 different cities and towns across Belarus. I told them that I wish I could take them home with me! It was a privilege to be here in Belarus, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to come back to this beautiful country and preach the Gospel again!
