Bubba Jenkins got kicked off Penn State by Cael Sanderson and transferred to Arizona State.
His first year there he met his former teammate David Taylor, undefeated in the NCAA Finals, and cradled him for the pin.
Taylor won Olympic gold. Jenkins went to MMA.

Official: Mesenbrink Gets the Hodge! Penn State's Mitchell Mesenbrink has won the 2026 Hodge Trophy after his second consecutive undefeated season & going 27-0. Mesenbrink won every single match this season by bonus, with the exception of a 6-0 decision over Bryce Hepner in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Nittany Lions, who have had 10 of the last 15 finalists, are now responsible for 2 of the last 3 trophies and have more than double the Hodge Trophies of any other program, with 8 winners.

@RudisRowley I fixed your tweet: Taylor beat out Jenkins for the start at 157. Jenkins pouted and ran off to AZ State. In the finals, Jenkins caught Taylor with a lucky move and pinned him for the win. Taylor went on to wrestling glory, Jenkins was never heard from again.

Bo Bassett met Olympic champion Vladimer Khinchegasvili at RAF07, and I don't think Vlad was ready for the kind of pace and pressure that Bo brings to every single match that he wrestles.
Bo continues to overwhelm his opponents. I gotta ask, can anyone withstand the onslaught?

I want you to know that none of the “Christ is king” athletes from the NCAA tournament have accepted my offer to do a free wrestling clinic for underprivileged kids in their area. They did send back an offer to do 2 hours of instruction for 5-10k. Not very Christian of you man.
