@NWischoff I typically have the confirmation bias that plagues men investing in men. I almost always want to invest in women, regardless of quality of biz. Proud the overwhelming majority of our capital has gone into female led teams. Have to use objective devices to gauge deal quality…

Probably 10x harder to raise money from women as a woman. Don’t have all of the answers here but a big takeaway over the past year.

+1 honestly think the number one thing that will kill companies over the next 6 months will be spending time/energy fundraising that would have been better spent generating revenue.

2021 likely was the largest short-lived aberration in VC history, and everyone - LPs, founders, and fund managers - were complicit and incented for it. Sobriety is definitely back, but it'll take time for everyone to unlearn what preceded 2022.
