I’ve heard from some exchange students that bullying in Japan can be exactly like this. If you’re a foreigner they’ll comment on your smell or weight but it’s so subtle that it’s just frustrating. The popular kid calling you their “bff” really is a universal thing huh.

Mexican President Sheinbaum talks about sending oil just to Cuban private businesses. Really? What about the public hospitals? Schools? Busses? Imagine if your govt had no oil, but businesses did! Crazy. Send oil to Cuba, pleeeease!!!
