Within 3 minutes these social platforms figure out what group to put you in and they only feed you that one side of the political spectrum.” ROGAN: “Absolutely they are.” HAMMER: “Young women have become more politically extreme than anyone else in the history of the country. They only listen to one perspective so they just keep voting for garbage.” ROGAN: “You’re right.” HAMMER: “I’m considered a borderline Nazi because I disagree with far left ideology. Sorry, but taxes shouldn’t fund t*ts. I’m sorry if that makes me a Nazi.” ROGAN: “They pretend their fake missions will have positive outcomes so they can justify what they’re doing with minimal backlash from the public for why they need all this money.”

Martin Luther King Jr. on why "other groups made it out... why can't you?" misses the point entirely: The question came up often in his time, and King had a precise answer for why the comparison breaks down. He notes that Senator Jacob Javits had recently raised exactly this challenge. Javits, who described himself as a former slum resident, pointed out that he and other Jews had made it out of the ghetto on the Lower East Side (as had many Irish and Italians) and asked why the same path seemed so much harder for Black Americans. King's response was direct. His first reason cut to the foundation of the comparison: "No other racial group has been enslaved on American soil." That single fact, he argued, made every other immigrant success story a poor analogy: "It's nice to say other people were down and they got up, but they were not slaves on American soil." His second reason was visibility. Where other groups could eventually blend into the crowd, a Black American's color made him permanently visible and in a society shaped by prejudice, that visibility was turned into a weapon: "His color has been against him; it's been used to keep him from moving up." Then King made the sharpest point of all. The reason the comparison fails isn't just history... it's permanence. An immigrant could soften an accent or change a name and disappear into the majority. That exit didn't exist for Black Americans: "While other racial groups have been able to change their accents or names to assimilate, the Negro cannot." And that, King warned, is what makes prejudice rooted in race so total. When you tell a man his position is the result of his color, you are telling him he can never escape it because he can never change the thing being held against him.

This mom just wanted to give her daughter $5 cash so she could buy a water bottle after forgetting hers at home. Sounds simple, right? Nope. The school doesn’t accept cash anymore — everything has to go through the online lunch account. What should have been a quick hand-off turned into a full-blown bureaucracy nightmare: confusing apps, multiple websites, phone calls to the school, hunting for a student ID number, password resets because of a data breach… all before she finally gave up and just drove over with the forgotten water bottle. It’s crazy how modern “convenient” systems can make paying for something as basic as a $5 water bottle so much more difficult than just handing over cash used to be. Have you ever gotten stuck in one of those ridiculous school (or government, or company) bureaucracy loops over something tiny?

The problem with long-format video uploads on X right now (as someone who does that) is that they disappear into the void within a couple of days. They need to figure out a way to make specific videos easily accessible and displayable regardless of future posts.

Some of the worst accounts on here, are the financial, stock, and crypto accounts. These morons spread so much unnecessary panic and angst about everything, all day everyday, in exchange for clicks. They have no actual understanding of the geopolitical situation either. They just predict the sky is falling every single day, and then when things are fine the next day, they just ignore how they were wrong, and go right back to panicking some more. It’s madness.
