Danielle Smith and the corrupt UCP are wrecking cancer care services so private clinics can profit off elective surgeries. This is why privatized healthcare is simply unacceptable. Cut out the bureaucracy and waste of profits and make a single integrated public health service!
Friends of Medicare@FriendsMedicare

🚨AB drs raise the alarm over surgical privatization: "This has resulted in a perverse prioritization. Simple elective orthopedic & cataract cases are given preference, while cancer & emergency procedures in public hospitals are delayed or cancelled." calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

#BREAKING: A new report on Mark Carney's ethics in office has found that Mark Carney is just a phone call away from Brookfield executives when they want to talk to him. Do you think this is why Mark Carney is shutting down all committee investigations into himself?

PM Carney on the Americans calling the alcohol ban an irritant: "You know what's an irritant? 50% tariffs on steel. 50% tariffs on aluminum. 25% tariffs on automobiles. All the tariffs on forest products. Those are more than irritants, those are violations of our trade deal."

After more than a year in office, Mark Carney hasn't even made a dent in the housing crisis. He wants you to think that building 0.3% of the homes needed is impressive. Canadians are not impressed!

Here's the real truth: Mark Carney has done NOTHING to protect Canadian jobs from US tariffs. All he does is fearmonger about it so he can grow his own power.

Europe didn’t leave the building. Europe packed its bags, called a cab, and didn’t bother leaving a note. The grand transatlantic alliance now consists of the United States and Russia, and two countries that still think air conditioning is a personality. That’s it. That’s the coalition. The most consequential partnership in modern history, and Washington managed to kill it in about a year. Remarkable, really. Not in a good way.

🚨Holy Crap! Trump just said some Gulf nations have become “much better allies than NATO, that I can tell you!” While Europe sat on their hands and refused to help against Iran, real partners actually showed up. NATO has abandoned America.

Donald Trump raped a 13-year-old child. She bit his penis. He punched her in the face. The FBI found the young girl’s story to be credible. Never stop talking about this. Post about it every day. We cannot allow these white supremacists to normalize child rape.

@DuaneBratt yet, the Alberta media will barely report on this topic, and wont do any follow-up or investigation whatsoever, and they will throw softball questions to the premier on this topic (if any at all) next time she is in public.

There is a reason that we do not have MLAs decide on electoral boundaries. Tossing out the Electoral Boundaries Commission and replacing it with a UCP-dominated committee is not just a bad idea. It is really bad for democracy. Ask the US, ask Hungary. This is not normal!

Elizabeth May: "I just read in The Guardian that the big oil and gas companies are making $30m [*an hour] because of the wars. So why are we deciding to get rid of the excise tax on gas instead of an excess profit tax on the companies that are raking in the dough due to war?"

Striking that the Liberals and Conservatives offer the same response to pain at the pump: siphon money out of the public purse instead of Big Oil’s profits. Oil companies are on track to make tens of billions in windfall profits from Trump’s illegal war in Iran. It’s their profiteering that’s driving up prices. It’s them who should pay. It’s time for price caps on gas to stop oil companies from price-gouging Canadians — and a windfall profits tax on war-time oil revenues, so the government can invest that money in the public interest. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
