@NBCJoshua I listened to you yesterday, and noted that you found it surprising that California - a woke state - had high COVID numbers. CA cities may be woke, but ruby red counties like SBD, Riverside, Kern, Imperial are NOT! That's how CA has gone off the charts. Best.

There's no way that responsible Californians could win. There are just too many Trump supporters who never took COVID seriously in the rural districts where people see themselves as independent, freedom lovin' 'Mericans. I just wanted you to have this note. It's not just the OC.

Both these counties adore Trump, hate federal authority AND have major interstate freeways running in from Arizona - I-10 from Phoenix to LA and I-8 from Yuma to San Diego. Add in Kern County (home to Kevin McCarthy) and Fresno County (home to Devin Nunes) and...

@Lawrence First, I love you and love your show. However, you are mistaken when you name checked Orange County, CA as the cause for CA's COVID surge. There are other ruby red counties in CA that are culpable, especially San Bernardino and Imperial counties.

@KatyTurNBC First, I love your work. Second, I've heard you ask how COVID re-surged in CA. My opinion? San Bernardino & Imperial counties. Both are ruby red counties (I live in SBD), and both have major interstates I-10 & I-8 that lead from AZ to major So. Cal. cities.
