Tsatsu Tsikata’s display during the 2013 election petition might have strongly influenced the appeal of the legal profession to the public.
Many have since considered him a law lord for his spirited advocacy and careful application of legal insight to the rules.
If a myth were to be written about Tsatsu, it should focus on the godly walks he took during the 2013 election petition.
* This emphasizes how the prestige of the legal profession is tied strongly to its members. And how one man can elevate its name and another can simply undermine it.

@S_OkudzetoAblak @Ndcpidgintweets Needless fun fair! We don’t host ‘Kenkey parties’ and cut ‘cakes’
Focus on the ball and don’t be swayed by ceremonies. You promised to deliver and you are doing great!
Congratulations 🍾

I have become aware of an intended surprise welcome by staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs scheduled for my arrival in Ghana tomorrow.
My checks with the Ministry’s management indicate that such surprise welcome ceremonies are a tradition of the ministry to celebrate major accomplishments and proud moments for Ghana.
I have expressed my appreciation to management for their thoughtful gesture and instructed that all such plans to offer me a surprise welcome at the Airport be cancelled immediately.
I would have strongly opposed the idea if I had been consulted. This is not a personal victory, and besides, there is more work ahead of us.
God bless all our dynamic and talented staff at the MFA and bless our dear country even more to keep winning on the global stage under the guidance of President John Mahama.
For God, Country and Continent.

I live on the Prampram Stretch and mine oh mine, it’s been hell in the last 8 years; we have been driving 3 hours across a 30 minutes journey to Tema and its environs. Fast forward to when Minister Agboza took office, we see visible progress each day and the time in that hellish traffic has reduced considerably.
@KAgbodza will go down in history as one of the best road ministers Ghana has ever had. Not the one who was almost going to use the tax payers money to build toilets at each tollbooth across the country. Eeeii!
Development of Ghana has always been the cardinal goal of the @OfficialNDCGh government. The Unpatriotic Party is misinforming and criticizing without providing any alternatives; the reason is they don’t even have. Referencing Agenda 111: If kwatrekwa promises you cloth, they say ask his name anna ? Opposition does not mean opposing anything that will better the lives of Ghanaians.
Move, Mr Minister

@F_Edzeamey My eyes are twitching maybe: what has changed with their professionalism and neutrality? They are beginning to have semblance of the NPPP. What has happened after the NSS expose. Me and my visions, let me mute 🤐

Let’s Talk Abu Trica.
1. Abu Trica was set up by an FBI informant who approached him saying that he was expecting some 50,000 dollars. And that Abu Trica should help find a bank account for them to transfer the money into.
2. His share would be 13,000 dollars if he found an account.
3. Abu Trica went around asking different people because he thought he was making 13,000 dollars.
4. Someone gave him an account which he gave to the FBI undercover agents.
5. And he was paid 13,000 dollars.
6. This is the entire evidence the FBI provided. When Abu was arrested, the FBI came to him to give them the name of the person whose account it was.
7. Abu didn’t. Before the matter went to court, they had EOCO Issue a press statement claiming that Abu had scammed people of 8 million dollars.
8. There is no 8 million usd anywhere. We are here because of 13,000 dollars.
9. Now Abu was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
10. We presented the magistrate with 80 pages of legal argument, tracing the history of the Extradition Treaty, showing that the offence of conspiracy is not an extraditable offence.
11. Now, the matter is under appeal, so I won’t say more than that. Except that in my whole life I have never met a judge so eager to extradite a person before. Complete refusal to follow due process. Her mind was made up, from day 1.
12. The truth is Out of 200 requests Ghanaian has received, all 200 have been extradited by our courts. 200-0 oo.
13. If our Courts are willing to follow the law, not be afraid of America; Abu’s case will be 200-1.
Shalom

On Wednesday, March 25, in my capacity as National Youth Organizer, together with my deputies, I began a series of engagements with the regional youth wings, starting with the Greater Accra Region. These meetings are designed to foster open dialogue with our Youth Organizers, creating space for frank conversations on the current state of the party and matters arising.
I used the opportunity to reaffirm to our Commanders the government’s and the party’s unwavering commitment to empowering our grassroots base through targeted initiatives that strengthen participation, build capacity, and expand opportunities for young people. While acknowledging the challenges we face, I emphasized that better days are ahead. #YouthPower
