For six years, Long COVID has been absolutely ravaging my body behind the scenes. Chronic pain. Bone deterioration. Numerous surgeries. Exhaustion and a LOT more. The kind of battles most people never see because you still show up, smile, work, create, and keep moving forward anyway. But last night, something happened that honestly stopped me in my tracks. For the first time in six years, I climbed back onto my favourite machine — the elliptical — and I wasn’t crushed by horrific pain. I was just… working out. Regular soreness. Elevated heart rate. Actual exertion. It felt like meeting an old version of myself again after years of surviving inside a body that felt like it was fighting me every single day. I’m not posting this for sympathy. I’m posting it because if you’re silently fighting something right now — physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually — progress can still happen even when it feels impossibly slow. Sometimes healing arrives in dramatic moments. Sometimes it arrives in a quiet 30-minute workout while drenched in sweat wearing a smartwatch from @Withings — a company I’m genuinely grateful to for supporting me through this chapter with the ScanWatch 2 Nova while I continue rebuilding my health and strength.
