A failure of imagination is the reason more good things don’t happen.

To change one’s own mind after being presented with an unexpected set of new facts is the most heroic thing a man can do. We need to normalize and praise these moments.

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration. President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy. If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake. The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging. President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

> be HR Department > Spend years creating complicated hiring processes, endless DEI trainings, and mandatory workshops > Convince everyone you're essential for "company culture" and "talent management" > Meanwhile the best people get hired through simple referrals and direct outreach > Top talent leaves because of the toxic bureaucracy you helped create > Layoffs still happen and you can't stop them > Companies that keep HR minimal still build great teams In practice, HR often creates more problems than it solves. HR in 2026 still desperately trying to justify their existence is getting really pathetic. You think traditional HR is actually necessary or mostly just expensive corporate theater?

JUST IN: Bolt CEO Ryan Breslow fired the company’s entire HR team because they were “creating problems that didn’t exist.”

Francis Fukuyama on the U.S. as a declining power: American decline is a direct product of Trump's rise since 2016. It is as if Trump had decided to do everything in his power to weaken the United States vis-à-vis China. He has polarized an already polarized country, cut funding for basic scientific research, and attacked American universities which are the best in the world. He and his colleagues have openly stated that their domestic opponents — the Democrats — are a far greater threat to the future of the United States than either China or Russia. There is agreement among America's friends and rivals that the United States has become something of a rogue state that is contributing to global instability and disorder — as well as something of a laughingstock.

Thanks, Amaryllis, for your extraordinary service.
Amaryllis Fox@amaryllisfox

For the last year and a half, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the security of our nation under the leadership of a President wholly and profoundly devoted to the safety and success of the American people. I’ve witnessed him work tirelessly to deliver a global and sustainable peace — not the typical short-term Band-Aids and window-dressing, but true transformation to a Golden era in which our children can thrive and grow. There is no stable peace while uranium is enriched in the hidden corners of a county that routinely chants Death to America from the floor of its Majlis. The President’s masterful blockade is finally forcing the Iranian regime to the table. And it’s doing so with vastly fewer casualties than Bush and Obama’s disastrous war in Iraq, where hundreds of thousands died, millions were displaced, and the threat of WMD did not actually exist. Whatever the media may say, this is a President who treasures human life. A brilliant tactician and tough negotiator, who delivers peace through strength. From his decision to end Obama-era funding for the war in Syria to his fierce commitment to peace in Biden’s war-torn Ukraine, he has spent five years in office focused on extinguishing conflict and violence across the globe. As a result, he has delivered more peace deals with fewer casualties than any president of my lifetime, and it’s not even close. I stand in awe of his courage, competence, and character. The Washington Post — who swamp-cheered their way through the last two decades’ disastrous and violent wars — speculated yesterday that perhaps I’m rejoining the private sector due to disagreement with the President’s foreign policy. Hogwash. I’m rejoining the private sector because I have a daughter about to begin college, with two younger children to educate, and I have to keep my family financially on track. But make no mistake about it — I stand with the President EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. And I will be at his side, serving on the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and the Intelligence Oversight Board with pride, devotion, and deepest gratitude for the coming two and a half years. Mr. President, God bless you, our Peacemaker in Chief. 🇺🇸

The best part about being so close to financial independence is that you stop taking work so seriously. Instead of logging into our 9am standup call, I’m going to my daughters school for a sing along show they’re putting on. I didn’t even ask permission. Just pinged my boss on teams and said this is what I’m doing. Don’t care about any repercussions. Earlier in my career, the anxiety about job performance and stability would have caused me to miss it.

What is the best possible future? This question is much harder to answer than it may seem.
Resist the Mainstream@ResisttheMS

Elon Musk: "Let's say you're praying to God and you ask for a given future. What future do you want God to give you? Probably, a future where there's amazing abundance for all."x.com/ElonClipsX/sta… "I think we want a future with love. That seems like a no-brainer. Peace is an interesting one because, you know, sometimes the price for complete peace may be too high because the complete peace may require too much suppression of the people."

@EthanMillenium This is true. I know of several boomers who own commercial properties like this. I can’t figure out how they make money on abandoned buildings though. Unless just using it for leverage.

There are thousands of these old brick buildings in this country and they should all be fixed and used. There’s no good reason they should be left abandoned.
