@HolmerNoah That’s a fair point. It’s huge for me because I use it before my gym opens.

@EuclidAnd53 My only issue with getting a indoor trainer is I have access to 2 gyms (both of which I work at) with them, it’s seems like a waste of $

Friends who have experience with multiple indoor trainers? I would like to do some cycling (it will be maybe 1-2 rides a month) outdoors. Should I? A. Buy a road bike+ Wahoo Kickr? B. Zwift C. Peloton D. Other indoor trainers (Keiser etc…)

@EuclidAnd53 I haven’t seen a bunch under $650 on marketplace near me, probably the option I’ll choose if I go stationary, or Zwift

It's wild how many middle-aged men will go play pick up soccer or basketball or softball without a second thought but won't lift weights or go for a run because it's too dangerous.

60–80% of people will deal with lower back pain at some point in their lives. A Reverse Hyper: – decompresses the spine – builds the posterior chain – drives blood to the low back The foldable Scout Hyper makes the most sense for home gyms, but here are some other variations.

If the league sends the Bears to Seattle for the opener, and then to Buffalo to open their new building, that would just be a brutal way to open the season.

Ashton Hall reveals he never trains abs despite having an insane six pack “I don’t do core. I didn’t do core for like 10 years. We all have a six pack, you just might not see it because of your diet. That’s why I do no carbs, the diet is for the core” “If you want a smaller waist, you don’t train core at all, you just make sure you’re in a caloric deficit so you can lose the fat over it”

A friend of a friend has been trying to BQ for about five years now. My friend told me that for the past 3 months, his coach has had him running 70mpw and foucsing on "speed work." He does his "easy" runs at ~8:00 pace. He just ran 3:15 on a 700' net downhill course. This guy has been running 50 to 70 mi a week for the past five years and his marathon time has fluctuated between 3:05- 3:20 with multiple DNFs along the way. This type of training is far more common than people realize. Yes he's working hard, but he's also just been spinning his wheels for five years and has made no progress. He's just beating himself into the ground day after day. I bet some of you reading this are simultaneously nodding your head and saying, "Yeah that's a stupid plan, how does he not see that?" while your training and (lack of) progress looks very similar but you don't even realize it, or choose to ignore it. I think too many people don't track their progress enough. They just put in work and focus on miles or volume or whatever. But if you're putting in all that work and you're not seeing clear measurable progress, that should be a massive red flag to stop, assess, and figure out why.
