@alanwinde Sorry to bother. Where can i get hold of the Ebike regulations for West Cape/SA? i see Ebikes sold online & driven on prominade of 500/750watt that is for heavier riders. me being a heavier rider, just want to check if its fine to buy for leasure ride usage. Thanks

@ianwalker wattage is a hard one to limit. as some ebikes are super heavy specially if its meant for heavier riders (more than 200lbs). then if limit is 250w motor to assist, that is not going to help. normal bicycles are light vs ebikes being 55 to 70pounds. limit speed sounds more legit

@TightFive_Rugby it was all about the ref. if the ref is next to or behind player and could clearly see a grounding and blows the whistle there is no request for tmo to check. normally if ref was in weird angle or thinks there was a knock or seperation, then he will ask tmo to have a look.

As an official with endless camera angles, replays and time, how can you deem this as a try. Baffling.

@TheCleanCarClub wonder if they take generation into account. cause men can be grandfather, father & son. all men. they are also eachothers children. all could have wives. also could be wives within family (the son has a wife) they don't state that the wife is not few generations down the line

What would you do in this situation?

@GandhiAOC @TRIGGERHAPPYV1 problem is if the person your chasing is very athletic, and you can't run as fast or faster than them. They will get away... unless they tire out before you do. Fitness or speed in this case do play a role.

@RugbyBits @RJacobs_10 @WorldRugby Full head contact if accidental would not be red. It depends on if one or both players lowered their body position. Then it would be yellow. Also factor in if the arm wrapped etc.etc. If it's clear shoulder to head/direct headbutt & no attempt to tackle lower. Then it's red

@RJacobs_10 @Arnie_1 @WorldRugby Agree with Ryno, Sam Cane was almost upright position when he made contact. He never lowered his position and contact was his shoulder to Kriel's face. Not the same at all.

@RJacobs_10 @WorldRugby there was a clear dip by Springbok, shoulders lower. arms in the tackle. Even if there was head contact. It seems both player with ball and tackler lowered position. So i would say a yellow would be fair.. or penalty. Red.... no way a red, accidental contact no intent.

@NotRobSimmons @SARugbymag not the same thing as the World Cup final red card, as Sam cane's was basically upright and no attempt to do a below the shoulder tackle. Hence the head contact. Otherwise that too would have been yellow (even if he dipped maybe 5cm)

@SARugbymag But this was a red card right? The Portuguese player was unconscious before he hit the ground. It was a terrible attempt at a tackle.

Do you agree with the decision to red card Andre Esterhuizen for this tackle?

@SARugbymag You can see he actually dipped to go lower (the shoulders dipped) , the player running also changed height going lower just before that. There was head contact, red a bit harsh. Yellow would be reasonable.
