FUEL PRICES: Proposal on the reduction of Fuel Prices. We have already written to Parliament with the intention to amend the VAT act and RMLF. Below are the proposed measures to ease prices. Reduce the importers and distributors margin by Ksh 4. Provision of an additional subsidy Ksh 5 Billion for diesel from the Fuel Stabilization Fund. With a monthly consumption of 202 Million liters – Ksh 24.75 per liter. Reduce VAT by 8% and make the products exempt. Reduce Ksh 7 Fuel levy that was added in 2024. The measures will reduce price of Super Petro to Ksh 187.38 and Diesel to Ksh 189.16. All these proposals are intermediary measures for short and near medium term. This is Githunguri Level 5 Hospital in Kiambu County. Funded fully by President William Ruto's administration, the hospital is 98%. The hospital was first launched by DP William Ruto but its progress was hampered after the fallout with Uhuru Kenyatta. Uhuru Kenyatta had a tendency of frustrating his Deputy by starving resource on project launched by his Deputy. But when Ruto took over as the president, the the construction of hospital is nearing completion.

Purity Ngirici has come out to explain how President Ruto asked her to step down and allow Anne Waiguru to vie for the Kirinyaga governor seat in 2022. According to Ngirici, Ruto urged her to instead focus on the Mwea MP seat, a proposal she did not take well and ultimately rejected.
