@rlegrow @FureyAndrew I sat in a meeting with the RNC a few weeks ago regarding safety issues downtown, based on how they’re viewing the issues, further funding to them would be wasted. Mental health and addictions counselling as well as homelessness are the major issues driving public safety problems

Just heard a clip of @FureyAndrew on vocm responding to a question about increasing risk of ‘public safety’ that’s been in the media. He suggested that he’s considered increased funding to RNC. I suggest he fund mental health outpatient & low income disparities before the cops.
