Another interesting note - after several days of interviewing dozens and dozens of Iranians, I have yet to meet one Iranian who was “fleeing:” almost all had plans to go back to Iran within days, some weeks.

Many conflicted people are rooting for the Islamic Republic to survive.
Some, because they hate the US, Israel, and the West.
Some, because they hate Trump and Netanyahu.
Some, because they hate Reza Pahlavi more than they hate the regime.
