@creatorthytyler @Noahp245 2023 they had "any manager" and lost another 20 games. Then that "any manager" was historically bad the following season.

@EvanMonson1 @Noahp245 That team was good in spite of LaRussa, not because of him. If you give that team to any other manage they make a deep playoff push

@JWerner247 No one is paying to subscribe to find out what those 5 questions are.. Illinois might have a pg in coleman. He moves fast and smooth. They need muscle in the paint. Mirkovic is all they have. Ivisic boys are too fragile to get down. But, that playbook: add off the ball movement

@takhtehchianmd @TheIlliniFN It would be nice to see a vet point guard with some SPEED. Maybe another big too for those couple of games when there's foul trouble.

Illinois basketball current depth chart: Vaaks / Lee Coleman / J. Davis Stojakovic / Morillo / Brown Mirkovic / L. Davis T. Ivisic / Z. Ivisic One of the more talented rosters in the country, which is why they are projected top-5. No true PG, lack some PF depth. Thoughts?

@kurtisallen I havent heard anything officially from the last three would be returners. It would be nice to see the illini find a speedy veteran point guard and a backup big -- even if their talents are limited otherwise.

They should change the name to "Strait of Schrödinger". It's both open and closed at the same time.

Never let anyone who voted for Trump pretend they care about the land they hunt, fish and camp on in Minnesota. Trump and MAGA will disappear eventually but not the forever chemicals about to destroy our most pristine wilderness area. This is their legacy.

⚠️ URGENT: U.S. Senate likely voting today on overturning the 20-year Boundary Waters mining ban! Congress must reject efforts to allow mining near these pristine waters, such as rolling back existing protections using the Congressional Review Act. 🔊 Contact your Senators now: act.americanrivers.org/page/96623/act… @savethebwca

•The U.S. Senate may hold a floor vote TODAY which would overturn a 20-year moratorium on sulfide-ore copper mining on 225,000 acres of Superior National Forest land in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) Wilderness in northern Minnesota. The Boundary Waters is the most visited Wilderness in the United States.  🛶 Enjoying the Minnesotan/Canadian wilderness by canoe or other lesser watercraft is one of our nations greatest available pastimes, and one I have personally enjoyed my entire life. We must protect these public lands from the rapacious capitalists threatening to turn them into a poisoned wasteland. •This vote in Congress would open the door to copper mining at the headwaters of this entire ecosystem. This kind of mining produces toxic pollution, including acid runoff and heavy metals, that can contaminate nearby waters. •The Boundary Waters supports a major outdoor economy that sustains thousands of jobs and generates over a billion dollars a year - built on clean water and intact public lands. But this vote would clear the way for toxic mining that puts all of that at risk. It would also set a dangerous precedent, making it easier to roll back protections for public lands across the country, including wilderness areas, national monuments, and national parks.  •This is a defining moment. If you care about clean water, public lands, and protecting places we can’t replace, now is the time to speak up. •Protect the Boundary Waters, and vote NO on House Joint Resolution 140. Let’s save this treasured place for all of us—forever. on.nrdc.org/4csRkwi

#illini With Duke out of the conversation for Blackwell, it has come down to 2-3 schools left interested. Illinois, UCLA, and Louisville making a push. Illinois- still in the lead and the best scenario for Blackwell. He wants to be on a championship contending team which we are and will be, he would get a lot of NIL, and he would be the primary ball handler with a lot of minutes. UCLA- Dont see them being a championship contender this year especially under Cronin. California taxes are crazy and will lose probably half of his earnings. Would probably get a lot of minutes Louisville- I’d say they are a championship contender this year with their roster so far. They just got the point guard from Oregon so minutes could be restricted some and they got a lot of NIL. Is PK a good coach or is he just going after the top transfers and hope they will be good? Illinois is clearly the choice I would make if I was Blackwell. On top of everything that was said he also has that family connection that can play a part in where he will end up

@pointmadebball Finch could consider playing him one and a while. Shannon is a real talent. His lack of usage this year and last in mind blowing.

Terrence Shannon Jr. was a player I picked as a breakout player this year And while he’s been quiet for most of the year, he’s stepped up in a big way last game and today, where he’s had a hot hand and provided a ton of energy off the bench for Minnesota
