Coming to end of my first year teaching public high school music after 12+ yrs of private teaching. Lots of fun. Enjoyed immensely. However, I was never prepared to be investigator, judge & jury in the court of teenage interpersonal drama. Holy F lol. Only 2 more days!

No notable guitar stuff from Bob Dylan. Very short set sitting at the piano. I forgot that he punishes the audience now. Literally blinds crowd with light. The old man hates phones that much. Annoying. But hearing All Along The Watchtower, Hwy 61 & some harmonica was worth it.

After a grueling 12 hour video shoot in 40°f weather outside and a 100°f temp inside a dangerous, falling apart, dilapidated house interior... I was the only one in our group to make it in the video. 🤷‍♂️ For like 2 secs. Lol. And Mick gave me his guitar pick 😎

Can't believe I'm saying this... I just got confirmation from Paisley Park. The high school rock band that I direct will perform at Prince Celebration 2026 on June 6th in Minneapolis! 🤯 I'm forcing my students to let me join the band LOL 🤷‍♂️ I gotta be on that stage! 🎸💜🕊
