The league wants a marketing website. Wouldn’t having top tier coverage of the league be a good way to get eyes? Why doesn’t the extremely successful and self sufficient Extratime podcast not exist anymore? And remains without a replacement? The website is a place i got into MLS from. It’s what helped drive me to want to do this job. I know there are a ton of fans who feel the same. This is the place that most — if not all — of your favorite MLS writers and podcasters came through or worked for. It’s a shame. As it was for around a dozen other people laid off or not renewed or phased out who were integral to fans and helped grow the league.
