Update #3: As of this moment I still have not received my replacement tickets from StubHub. At first I was told I have them by 4pm yesterday..that didn't happen. Then Stubhub said the tickets they were giving me were due to be sent to them by 9PM EST last night and then they'd send them over to me. That did not happen. By this morning, Nick from StubHub who's been nothing but helpful and responsive, reached out via email to let me know they were having some problems getting the tickets from the seller and we're likely going to have to cancel that transaction and find me 4 different tickets. He reached out again earlier this afternoon to let me know they secured the tickets but it was going to take a little bit of time to get them transferred. I just sent another email to Nick as of 6:30PM to check the status. I still have yet to receive them. It seems there are a lot of issues getting these e-tickets sent. I hope to give a final update that the tickets were finally received, but as of now I can not say that

Hi @TeamStubHub. My order 629340404 was canceled by the seller for Brazil vs. Haiti - World Cup. Your phone support is forcing a refund, which violates your FanProtect Guarantee. The policy explicitly promises "comparable or better tickets" if an issue arises. There are currently active listings available on your site right now in the Category 3 seating areas. I do not authorize a refund. Please escalate this to a supervisor who can authorize a marketplace fulfillment transfer immediately so I can attend the event.

Update #2: Immediately after my last post I received a phone call from a gentleman named Floyd from StubHub..he said they were taking care of the situation and would be sending me a replacement 4 tickets in an upgraded section. I was supposed to get those tickets emailed, which have yet to arrive. I also received a second phone call from another gentleman, Nick from StubHub. He let me know they were working on getting the tickets sent to me from the seller and that I should expect them soon. To be 100% transparent as of this minute I still do not have the tickets sent, but it appears headed that way and Nick was more than helpful and kind. I believe he'll get the 4 ticket replacements over to me as soon as the seller sends them. It was a lot of posting to get to this point, but for me thankfully it appears headed in a positive direction. Thanks to Floyd and Nick for reaching out to me today. We appear to be half way home in my request for replacement tickets, I'll give a final update if and when the tickets are received. Thanks again to the X posters for amplifying my reach. Without this original post and X users amplifying my message I don't think this would have gone as well. Appreciate you guys/gals!

Thank you to all of the people who have taken the time to like, retweet or comment on my post from last night. To give a brief update StubHub has done absolutely nothing. I thought maybe the momentum of over 1M impressions would catch the attention from somebody who could make things right at @StubHub @TeamStubHub, but so far it's been crickets. The game is now less than 48 hours away. StubHub still has thousands of tickets available for sale to the Brazil vs Haiti game so it's not like this impossible for them to replace my tickets, they just don't want to do it because demand/prices have gone way up since my original purchase. If anyone out there that views this has or knows of anyone with connections at StubHub please reach out to me or share my story. As of now it seems all of my efforts are leading to dead ends. And again, thanks for all of the interactions I actually believe this thing continuing to snowball in X is just about my only chance to have StubHub shamed into doing right by their customer.

I just received an email yesterday stating the seller is unable to deliver my tickets and that I would be entitled to replacement tickets as per StubHub's Fan Protect Guarantee. Once I tried to get those replacement tickets I found that none were offered and my only option was to accept a refund. I do not want a refund, I want the tickets to be replaced. Ticket prices have skyrocketed and a refund is useless to me now. I bought the tickets 7 months ago for around $270/ tickets. Ticket prices as of today are nearly $2000 for 1 ticket. My original order number is 629340404. Please don't do me dirty like this stubhub, Ive been a longtime customer and this isn't right. I've already filed a complaint with the BBB and the attorney general office in both NJ and PA.

Hey @StubHub @TeamStubHub I bought 4 tickets to the Brazil vs Haiti - World Cup game on June 19th in Philadelphia. I purchased the tickets back in November, 2025. Now 2.5 days before the game you send me an email stating the original seller can not deliver his tickets to me, but that you'll replace them as per the FanProtect Guarantee. When I click the link to accept my new set of 4 tickets, it says no tickets available and my only option is to take a refund. I don't want a refund, I want my damn tickets that my family was looking forward to going to for the last 7 months. After 2 hours on the phone with your unhelpful cur card trading reps I was told too bad, refund or nothing. You guys have really made a huge mess of this not only for me, but apparently many others. I've been a loyal customer since your inception and have paid a fortune in fees both buying and selling tickets over the years. Maybe you can do the right thing and replace my 4 tickets with 4 of the thousands you still have up for sale on your site instead of telling me you can only offer a refund. I've contacted BBB, the attorney general of NJ, the attorney general of PA and I'm refusing a refund. I want my 4 tickets replaced with 4 comparable tickets, as the FanProtect Guarantee states. Tickets have more than quadrupled since I purchased these tickets, so your refund is useless.

Please help @TeamStubHub @StubHub @StubHubAdvocacy . Please stand by a longtime customer and not job me out of my 4 World cup tickets I purchased 7 months ago. You have thousands of tickets available on your site to the Brazil vs Haiti game. I'd like my 4 tickets replaced as promised by the FanProtect Guarantee. I do not want a refund. Purchased them back in November for a faction of the price they're at now, and I get the email today that the tickets are unavailable. Hoping @StubHub @TeamStubHub extends to me the same courtesy they extended to you. Our family of 4 has been pumped all winter/spring to attend this event and with 2 days to go stubhub just threw us a total curveball. I don't want a refund. I refuse a refund. @TeamStubHub Wife and I were all set to take our 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son to the Brazil vs. Haiti World Cup game in 2 days. We bought the 4 tickets 7 months ago in November. Received an email today from StubHub stating the tickets I purchased aren't available and that my only option was a refund. I've been a StubHub customer since it's inception and have paid 10s of thousands over the years in fees both as a seller and buyer. I was astonished to discover today just how meaningless the FanProtect Guarantee is. Here. I was thinking my family would be going to a World Cup game for 7 months. The whole family was pumped..you have thousands of tickets still for sale on your site that are comparable to the 4 tickets I purchased 7 months ago, but prices have more than quadrupled since then so you don't want to replace them. And because they've quadrupled your refund won't even afford me buying 1 ticket, let alone 4. I am refusing the refund. I am requesting that you replace these tickets with comparable tickets. @TeamStubHub My order # is 629340404. I purchased these 4 tickets on November 17, 2025 to the Brazil vs. Haiti game. Just today I received an email that the original seller is unable to deliver the tickets. The email stated that another set of 4 would be offered in a comparable zone/section and not to worry, but upon clicking that link it stated no tickets available and my only option was a refund. I don't want a refund I want the 4 tickets replaced with another 4 tickets. Your site currently has plenty of similar sets available. Prices have more than quadrupled since. I purchased my original set. Please do the right thing and help me out..I would greatly appreciate it. I know you've been able to find tickets for other people who have found themselves in the same situation as me. I can provide you with any further detail you need. Please, please, please reach out. The game is in 2 days. I've already reached out to BBB and both the NJ and PA attorney general offices in regards to this matter. I DO NOT want a refund. I'd like the replacement the FanProtect Guarantee states.
