@Ronalfa I had the same experience dealing with a large hospital in CA. Emails and calls to the responsible individual were unanswered. Administrators couldn't do anything without higher up signing off. It took a threat of legal action to get things moving after more than two months

Our company trains AI on tumor tissues. My partner had cancer and it was difficult for us to even get her samples to our lab for profiling.

Solid tumors are adversarial N-of-1 diseases. They hide. They adapt. They mutate. They go dormant, come back, and learn to survive whatever you throw at them. Pretending this can be beaten with a static playbook and a few standardized protocols is fantasy
That’s why the future has to be personalized, precision, combo treatment with continuous monitoring and constant course correction. Not one decision up front, then months of blind faith. You have to keep learning faster than the cancer does
Some of us have been doing this for humans. And we’ve had to fight not just the disease, but the system: red tape, institutional arrogance, perverse incentives, and people whose first instinct is to defend the standard of care no matter how many bodies it leaves behind. I still remember telling a leading oncologist at a leading CA hospital to GFY when he lectured me about the danger of doing anything outside a standard that has failed every single patient ever
So yes, I welcome Paul’s story, even if it makes people uncomfortable.
The status quo deserves criticism. Clinical trials are still too often built around averages while patients suffer from highly heterogeneous, evolving disease. Investors run from anything novel unless the path is already paved. And too many clinicians have been trained to worship protocol over outcomes, caution over curiosity, and career safety over actual patient survival
That’s the real scandal. Not that people are trying something new. It’s that so many are still defending a system that fails over and over, then acts offended when patients and families refuse to die obediently

we're entering a time where the architecture decisions made years ago are about to get stress-tested in ways most chains aren't ready for
this is my prediction: when agentic finance really takes off, you're going to see a mass extinction event for a lot of outdated smart contract platforms
this will not be a slow decline or a gradual loss of market share.

the kind where the environment changes faster than the organism can adapt. that's what agentic finance is going to do to these chains
because agents don't transact like humans
they are operating at machine speed, across thousands of parallel actions, continuously
the throughput demands of that world will make today's peak loads look trivial
so if your infrastructure was designed around scarcity, around managing congestion rather than eliminating it, you're not going to be able to patch your way out of that
i have always said this: scalability isn't a feature you add later. It's either in the foundation or it isn't
and the chains that don't have it in the foundation are going to fall behind and eventually become irrelevant
@SuiNetwork was built with the foundations to scale and thrive in a world where machines transact
and this year we're pushing even harder to bring all the features necessary to make Sui the true hub of agentic finance.
