When I was younger, I never heard about anybody going to therapy unless they were a war veteran or victim of some horrific crime. And people were saner and better regulated back then. I'm not convinced modern therapy helps most people. The opposite is possible.

@BretWeinstein Qatari $. Tucker defends radical Islam, and you defend Tucker. I thought you had better discernment. Shame on you for being fooled by Tucker’s charm. Skip to the 5 minute mark of this clip for a rebuke of Tucker’s Islamophilia:

@Rothmus Most of their problems are due to the ridiculous pension funding requirements imposed on them by Congress. FedEx and UPS don’t have this anchor around their necks.

A temporary rise in fuel prices is not the issue when transportation’s only 13% of the budget. USPS promised to break even in 2023 and missed by +$6.5 billion, then again in 2024 by +$9.5 billion. Math aficionados correctly observe that it’s only gotten worse. In 2025, it only lost +$9 billion. PROGRESS BIGLY! The Delivering for America in 2021 made surreal promises of breaking even with increased speed and reliability. They tried hiring non-Americans with no oversight and no standards enforced to cut costs, effectively handing sensitive mail to foreigners. Even with that tradeoff, they still couldn’t break even. Just end the nightmare that is the DFA and shut it down. And stop hiring consultants and buying frivolous shit. $40 million to Deloitte, some $10 billion on over 60,000 electric vehicles. Insanity all over the place. And now the Postmaster General David Steiner is saying: “At our current rate, we’ll be out of cash in less than 12 months. In about a year from now, the Postal Service will be unable to deliver the mail, if we continue the status quo.” To which the obvious answer is: 2025 was no different than the failures of the Biden years. If it can’t be done, probably best to hand it over to someone who can.

🚨 The widely used sugar alternative erythritol could be sabotaging your health. A new study shows it erodes the blood-brain barrier and inhibits the body's natural ability to dissolve blood clots. A new study from the University of Colorado suggests that erythritol, a sugar alcohol common in keto-friendly and sugar-free snacks, may directly damage the blood-brain barrier. By exposing cells to levels typically found after consuming a single sweetened beverage, researchers observed a spike in oxidative stress and the death of critical cells responsible for guarding the brain against toxins. This disruption shifts the body’s delicate chemical balance by reducing nitric oxide and increasing endothelin-1, causing blood vessels to constrict dangerously and potentially starving the brain of essential oxygen and nutrients. Beyond physical vessel damage, the sweetener appears to sabotage the body’s innate defense against strokes by blocking the release of tissue plasminogen activator—a natural "clot-buster" that dissolves blockages before they can trigger a medical emergency. These laboratory findings align with large-scale human observational data showing that individuals with high erythritol levels are twice as likely to experience major cardiac events. While regulatory agencies currently deem the sweetener safe, these results prompt a serious re-evaluation of the long-term health trade-offs associated with popular sugar substitutes. @blazerbanter Sheed was awesome, one of my all time favorite Blazers. Problem was, he couldn’t deal with the inherent unfairness of the NBA’s “star system” & got too angry at the refs too many times. This offended the cranky old white sportswriters, as did the other “Jail Blazers”.

One thing I’m worried we will not get in this is the perspective of kids who grew up in the area at this time and what they thought. Sheed had a universal approval rating with younger Blazers fans at that era. My friends at playground would literally pretend to be him.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

For the immunologists and vaccinologists out there who want to tell the truth about MEN B vaccines. @RWMaloneMD @Kevin_McKernan @SecKennedy @NIHDirector_Jay Injecting tri-acylated lipoproteins - structurally and functionally similar to those in borrelia - could mimic aspects of Lyme infection pathology. Think overstimulation of TLR2 pathways. Think immunosuppression or tolerance in some contexts (ie: certain meningococcal lipoproteins can downregulate responses). This will result in exacerbation of symptoms in people with existing or latent borrelia exposure, or contributing to post-vaccination inflammatory syndromes. How many people in the US have been exposed to borrelia? I'll answer: A LOT. It would be stupidly irresponsible to push this vaccine onto the general public. Bookmark this.
TruthCures@TruthCuresLyme

Sigh. Really tired of showing common mechanisms of disease with triacyl lipoproteins and no medical professionals getting it. The antigen in MenB vaccines is a triacyl lipoprotein. Here, Pfizer says so themselves. link.springer.com/article/10.120…
