Day 1 started with the total extraction of DNA from the bacteria in the patients samples. By the end of day 2, DNA sequencing was complete and comparison among the different samples and with other bacteria started. 4/7

The pilot demonstrated the ability to investigate an outbreak in real time, which can support the prevention, detection and control of hospital infections. Congratulations to the teams of Raquel Sá Leão and Maria Miragaia from ITQBNOVA and Ricardo Leite, from @IGCGenomics. 7/7
