@trouble_man90 I forgot when Lib Dems ran on expanding the court. Please do refresh my memory. Oh that's right they want to do inquiries but not action. Now will Lib Dems run on expanding the court or will they let this go out with a whimper like they did on Roe v Wade.

@RepNancyMace We give hundreds of millions in tax breaks incentives and subsidies to foreign companies to operate and build out in America oftentimes to not much success I.E. Foxconn but you're concerned about americans being able to buy cheaper seafood because our own is too expensive.

American taxpayer dollars should support American fishermen, not foreign competitors. Our amendment to the Farm Bill excludes seafood not harvested, cultivated, and processed within the United States from being purchased with SNAP benefits. This protects domestic producers and ensures federal food assistance dollars stay in American hands. There is no reason federal dollars should be going to foreign seafood operations overseas, while our shrimpers and fishermen are being undercut.

Hasan Piker says the designated terrorist organization Hamas is 1,000 times better than Israel. His statement outraged many — who now just want to write him off. That's a mistake. He has a massive audience and is emerging as one of the major voices of his generation. Those of us who disagree owe him — and his audience — a real argument. Here's mine … And my position doesn’t come from ignorance about oppression. For a big chunk of my life, I was a grassroots activist — because of the pain of my own people. During those years, I was lucky enough to learn from elders who had been in the Black Panther Party, in SNCC, in the ANC. These were people who had to choose whether to pick up the gun — and how to use it if they did. They taught me this: even in armed struggle, there are principles. No women. No children. No rapes. No kidnapping. Mandela held that line. Amílcar Cabral held that line. You don't become what you're fighting. Hamas fails that test. They are not fighting for MORE freedom for Palestinians. They're fighting for less. They want theocracy, not democracy. And their means? They don’t use principled armed struggle (hitting military targets). They use terrorism (targeting civilians). The vast majority of Americans — including those who sympathize with the Palestinian cause — reject terror tactics. Reasonable people would agree on three principles: secure homelands for both peoples; no hatred for Jews or Muslims; and protection for all civilians. Hamas’ approach undermines all three. That's the conversation Piker's audience deserves. Not name-calling.

@SenFettermanPA @JimJustice_WV @SenCapito @SenatorBennet Not adding all hot food items from grocery stores seems like a missed opportunity as well as looking to expand or reevaluate the requirements to qualify for snap. This just screams ad from a place where those most needed can't even afford entry to.

Today, I voted to block the provision of U.S. military assistance to Israel: 1,000-pound so-called ‘dumb’ bombs and military bulldozers. In the future, I will continue to assess U.S.-funded offensive weapons to Israel on a case-by-case basis, and I will continue to support sending Israel much-needed defensive weapons, like Iron Dome. I have struggled with these Joint Resolutions of Disapproval as much as any vote since I joined Congress. I represent a state with a large Arab and Muslim population and a large Jewish population. And over these last two-plus years, few issues have been as raw, painful, and personal as this one. Throughout that time, I have worked hard to call balls and strikes based on my experience and the facts on the ground, even when some are reluctant to consider new information. My entire life, I have been -- and continue to be -- a strong supporter of a Jewish and democratic State of Israel. The people of Israel, like all people throughout the region, deserve long-term security and peace. But being pro-Israel today is not about simply supporting the political or military agenda of Prime Minister Netanyahu, just like being pro-American should not be equated with loyalty to President Trump. This is a complex truth that many of us who support Israel hold, and it applies to my own patriotism and government as well. I can support the security of a country without supporting the specific policies of any one political party or leader. And if Israelis can take part in rigorous debate and protests of their own government’s policies, Americans supportive of Israel can do the same thing. I have no love lost for the Iranian regime or their proxy groups like Hezbollah. I know firsthand from three tours in Iraq alongside our military how Iran is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans and thousands more civilians in the Middle East. But President Trump committed the U.S. to a war of choice against Iran, alongside Israel, with no evidence of an imminent threat, no clear objectives, and without Congressional approval. Seven weeks in, he has yet to provide a strategy for this war or a clear path to get out of it. So just as I am against more U.S.-funded weapons to Israel today, I am also deeply skeptical of more U.S. funding for the Iran war, which reportedly could be anywhere between $50 to $200 billion, on top of $1 trillion provided to the Pentagon last year. Every American should be invested in the U.S. ending this war with the least possible loss of blood and treasure. It is my hope that we can get a comprehensive and durable ceasefire as soon as possible.

@trouble_man90 Bro Dems couldn't even pass single payer option. Obama adopted his healthcare plan from Mitt Romney and still did a worse version than that. The supreme court can be expanded but dems love their precious norms that Republicans trample on at any given chance. Dems are why.

@2RawTooReal Winning races and implementing meaningful chnage and policy are two different things. They can win elections and fail to meet the moment. This is why having actual policy platforms and how to implement them are important. Dems have failed at this.

@NicolasEdny Her plan was just another neoliberal austerity measure and that would amount to slowing down the affordability crisis rather than address it. Decomodifying housing, getting private equity out, while having the government build homes sold at cost is what needs to happen.

Hasan Piker meets Jodie Evans in Cuba. Evans is married to Neville Roy Singham, $785M tech fortune converted into America's largest CCP-linked protest infrastructure. Singham funds The People's Forum ($20M+), Code Pink ($1.4M annually), PSL, and BreakThrough News from his Shanghai office inside a Chinese propaganda firm. You're watching recruitment into a documented foreign influence network.
Stu Smith@thestustustudio

Hasan Piker has landed in Cuba and, naturally, one of the first people he runs into is Jodie Evans — Neville Roy Singham’s wife, Code Pink co-founder, and People’s Forum board member.
