Don’t listen to folks claiming that quantum computing is going to end Bitcoin.
First of all, ignoring that things adapt and evolve… if things stayed static, the entire economy would be in jeopardy because TLS (https), which secures your online payments, would also be broken. Criminals would go after the entire economy more than just bitcoin.
Second, it would not really affect the Bitcoin network. Rather, only early wallets are at risk (new ones are not). This will have an impact on the supply/demand metrics if stolen wallets are liquidated, sure, but it will get absorbed and stabilize again.
Third, quantum computing is still a far off dream. They are no where close to being able to pull off what is being suggested.

@River @Leishman They might even be able to make more gold at some point in the future:

I vibe coded an internal prototype of Oauth connectivity to surface considerations we weren't thinking about and it was very helpful. We ofc threw that code away and did things from scratch the right way, but I really like the prototype first approach to chunky new features.

You can connect River to your other financial apps (e.g. credit card) via Plaid to pay bills and move money.

Can you imagine living in a time when throughout your life prices for nearly EVERYTHING were always going down? I cannot even FATHOM it but that’s how it used to be in America before the Federal Reserve.

Over the past 10 years, a traditional 60/40 portfolio saw annual returns rise from 9.4% to 14.6% with just a 3% allocation to Bitcoin.

@coinbase is laying off nearly 700 workers. CEO @brian_armstrong claimed he'd seen engineers "use AI to ship in days what used to take a team weeks" and that non-technical teams in the company are "shipping production code.”
I would not want to own $IBIT since Coinbase is their custodian. I mean you should be in bitcoin:native proper anyway but if you can’t, I’d go $FBTC since they at least self-custody and are a proven financial custodian. They certainly won’t be jeopardizing your wealth by running AI-slop unchecked by experts that know what they’re doing.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ The foam distributes the load more evenly providing better support.

This guy used a car jack to lift an entire sidewalk and injected polyurethane underneath to stabilize and level it.
This type of job can cost all the way up to $25 a square foot.
But….. hear me out here, what if we just kept the jack in the ground and buried the $50-$100 jack right where it’s at? Wouldn’t that save a ton of money?
Could it work? Would it work?

It can be helpful, but can be dangerous to those that lack experience. I just had AI create a proforma spreadsheet this week and it had incorrect calculations in multiple places. Good thing I know what calculations such as CoC return look like.
Also, we know that Zestimates can be wildly inaccurate. What data do you think AI is using to base its answers on? Be careful.

This question misunderstand the situation. SP500 is basically just M2. maybe 2%, max 3%, of real growth. The rest is just the devaluation of dollars. There is no “exit liquidity”, the price of everything just goes up in perpetuity as more dollars added to the system chase the same amount of goods and services.
Reflection🪩@0xReflection
Only one question: who’s the exit liquidity?

@AAStack @peruvian_bull The readers note doesn’t include information about what percentage of that wage is kept vs what was taken in taxes.

@tadtweets taught finance for 25 Years before he realized this fundamental reality of our monetary system: The stock market is effectively crashing UP due to inflation!
Diversification can help preserve wealth, but it's concentration of capital that creates wealth. For example, @elonmusk and @JeffBezos both created significant wealth from a single business which they promptly diversified afterwards.
#Bitcoin is a promising avenue where concentration seems poised to build significant wealth.
