Is AI making us smarter or dumber? 🤔 Much is being said now that AI is making us "dumber" - that is to say, some people are no longer "thinking" but are simply going to their favourite Generative AI tool, asking or entering in a prompt, then copy and pasting said response from Gen AI tool into emails, documents or across socials. On a personal level, I feel it's making me smarter 🤓, as whilst I am asking or prompting regularly (actually daily now), I'm learning from the responses it is giving me. Now I very rarely just copy and paste, but will often probe the response a little bit further, especially if I don't understand a concept. I ask it to explain things to me in simpler language or even give me an analogy. If used correctly I am firmly in the camp that AI will give us all expert levels of ability and phenom powers of productivity. My first cinematic AI *music* video. I got the inspiration this past weekend to write a song and record it. I have not done this in decades. Yes, it is my voice singing. I recorded it all on my iPhone using GarageBand. I hated it at first, then it was OK, then hated it. I forced myself to finish it. I created a music video for it using AI. My friend @genzomusic was kind enough to help me fix it up the production. I'm glad I finished it. I'm glad I finally did it after all of these years.🙏

Hello Humans ... seriously, no shade meant with the "...they've only been in the AI industry for 5 minutes and now they are calling themselves an expert" comment. 🙏🏾 😅 I had someone last week ask me "how can you call your channel the Expert Voices of AI when you're not an expert" 🤷🏾‍♂️ 🤣 ... trolls can be savage. ... but, very true. And that's why I am not calling myself an expert but showcasing all the Academic Researchers publishing the papers, you know the ones with the PhDs. 🤓 So to "be real" and to ensure I am not hiding behind some "fancy voice with my Dulcet tones", I'll be publishing a "Behind the Scenes" episode each week featuring yours truly, complete with hoodie and Jordan cap. Research papers are merely a synthesis of ideas and postulates ... it's a reminder that in the academic world, enduring value is not just in the quantity of research produced, but in the quality and relevance. "From few (research papers) comes many" i.e. Much value has been achieved from a small subset of academic papers e.g. Alan Turing's academic paper on Computing Machinery and Intelligence sparked the quest to achieve AI. (NB: Not written by ChatGPT)

Such an awesome workflow and good use of AI. I've added micro-experimentation to my workflows leveraging AI, to see what quickly works, especially with content, then you can see what is resonating. I'm making sure that it's not all purely AI scripted, taking a more hybrid approach i.e. AI gives me some of the framework, but I always go in and tweak to give it my personal voice / touch.

My new Creative Workflow with AI Visualization: The process begins with the emergence of creative ideas, often appearing intuitively and unexpectedly. Experimentation: I capture these ideas by using an AI-powered note-taking app like Obsidian. This step involves jotting down the initial concept to preserve its essence. (Re)imagination: After the initial idea is recorded, I move on to the (re)imagination phase. Here, I reshape and refine my concepts into a structured form. AI tools like Chat GPT, Midjourney, and Canva play a crucial role in this step. They help me organize thoughts, build a coherent structure, and visualize the concept more tangibly. Creation: The refined idea then transforms into a tangible creation. This creation could take various forms, such as a social media post, newsletter, YouTube video, blog post, TikTok, short video, or reel. The AI-assisted process significantly enhances the efficiency and quality of creating these content pieces. By following this structured workflow and leveraging AI tools at different stages, I am able to streamline my creative process and produce engaging content across various platforms.
