The discourse surrounding Crimson Desert after the reviews hit yesterday just showed me a lot of people just crave the social part of this hobby without actually wanting to engage in the hobby itself.
I didn't have early access to this one, looking forward to jumping in later.

@torrybobs Never said AI wouldn't push them out. Im just saying dlss 5 is just upscaling what's already been made and its optional to use by the Devs and us users. If devs use it in there games then the devs should get hit with complaints too.

CEOs & shareholders just got the go ahead to push harder for this in all upscaling software, and that means 3D artists are gonna be out of the job if you can use way less of them on a project, make them churn out worse art, with CEOs & shareholders thinking DLSS 5 will “fix” it

Look, I also don’t want to see the enslopification of gaming, but the downstream effects of dlss 5 could empower a lot of smaller studios. It’s not all AI=bad

Bloomberg: PlayStation will no longer release its single player titles on PC going forward
Live-service games will still launch on PC, but games like Marvel's Wolverine and Saros will be PS5 exclusive

@LUCKYY10P Yes. Destiny is my favourite franchise but destiny 2 has just slowly died. The portal is also a turn off too but a destiny 3 would get me back to the addiction I once had with the game.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’ll repeat what I said years ago: Destiny 3 remains the only real hope for the franchise. Especially now. We know it. They know it. My honest prediction? I think we hear about “Destiny 3” news within 2-5 years.

Shadow and Order will be made bigger, delayed until June, and renamed.
Nice to have these comms now, but honestly this feels like something we could've gotten 2 months ago.

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels.
