#TNElections2026 - Dance of Democracy, the most unpredictable election in the State with #TVK entry, which is being spoken a lot now. Too many opinion polls were out. I just did an analysis of 2021 Election Results: Assuming no Anti-incumbency for the elected parties or candidates in these 234 constituencies: 1. 89 seats will be won by both #DMK & #ADMK alliances together easily, where they won with more than 25,000 vote leads. These can be called as their “Strongholds” & may not be impacted much by vote split from a new entrant. 2. Both Alliances will face challenges in 145 constituencies where the margin of victory was less than 25,000 votes (average lead was 11,000 votes). 3. Out of these 145, it’s going to be even more challenging in 69 constituencies for both alliances where the margin of victory was less than 10,000 votes (average lead was just 4,700 votes). 4. If #TVK is able to get 15 to 20% votes across Tamil Nadu, their impact will be felt in 145 constituencies (lead margin less than 25,000 votes). 5. If #TVK is able to get only 10 to 15% votes across Tamil Nadu, their impact will be felt only in 69 constituencies (lead margin less than 10,000 votes). It’s going to be a tough battle ahead with young generation deciding the future of Tamil Nadu in 2026 Assembly elections. May 4th - will analyse the results based on the break up given to see what voters have decided 👍
