I can tell you, I sincerely don't think I'm wrong, but I would rather be wrong and naive than think that cynically about my fellow man even if some magic button kills me for it.

@Extropi @ChesBurks @TheCartoonLoon The cynical outlook is far more realistic than your naive outlook. 100% chance you would realize this when it came time to actyally push a button and the stakes become real, after you'd already encouraged others to push the blue button.

Blue literally won the twitter poll and this is most cynical place on earth and somehow red voters seem to think that its impossible for blue to win. Blue already won guys.

@wdw1439166139 @ChesBurks @TheCartoonLoon You don't really know that or have any way to substantially measure it out, but it might be important for you to think that way because red button pushing requires correctness about a fundamentally more cynical outlook than it appears people actually express.

@Extropi @ChesBurks @TheCartoonLoon It didnt win because people weren't actually pushing the button. Some of them are lying. Saying you would pick red saves the lives of people too naive to realize more of the supposed blue button pushers are lying, enough that red would win easily in reality.

@wdw1439166139 @ChesBurks @TheCartoonLoon But it didn't win. Your assumption relies on a greater proportion of people thinking like you, but they don't appear to. You can speculate about different samples or contexts, but it ends up looking like a lot of "trust me bro" vs results.

@ChesBurks @TheCartoonLoon Only a small percentage of the people claiming to pick blue would have to be lying to guarantee red wins. There isnt the same incentive to do so with red. Just a few seconds of thought shows red wins easily no matter which you pick.

@Teslimatttt Probably he is both sore about Nolan on an emotional or personal level, and, also he probably sees Nolan's guilt as something to use in lieu of having anything that can actually stop him. Forgive him, and you both lose that leverage and that's also probably unsatisfying for him.

@koshian For context, the commenter you're responding to is like an American 'Netto-uyoku'. They often object to depictions of different ethnicities. In this case, many of those types are upset that the EN voice actress for the robot girl happens to be a black lady.

日本の西洋風異世界では大体「聖職者階級」がほぼ存在しないか非常に影が薄いんだよ。これは日本だって僧侶の影響力はずっと凄かったのに、廃仏毀釈以来仏教の影響力が非常に衰えて、現代日本人には圧力団体としての聖職者階級が実感として分かり難いからだよね。 王権に政治にバンバン口を挟む聖職者階級描いても良く分からないし、王様より偉い聖職者描くと日本人の階級意識からして納得し難いモノになっちゃうんだよ。

@AOIKEN72 That's true, and certainly there were Temples that appeared to rule over fiefs similarly to "Bishoprics" in Europe. I was thinking in particular as well of how those figures enwrapped the elements and architecture of the state, and its enforcement classes, with themselves, too.
