I really don’t understand Manchester City’s decision to replace Pep Guardiola with Enzo Maresca. Pep has already set the standards at this club unbelievably high, at this point, we only need a coach who comes in to continue winning trophies. The club already has elite management, a strong structure, and world-class players. This is not a team that needs rebuilding from the ground again. For me, Luis Enrique was the best and most obvious choice.

At Chelsea next season, he will make several new additions to the squad while letting some players leave. Once the squad clicks , I have no doubt he will win the Premier League the following season. The FA simply won’t allow one club to dominate the Premier League again (the same reasons that ultimately forced Pep to step away). So while Arsenal fans are celebrating now, they should understand that the favourable decisions they benefited from this season won’t be repeated next year. Those calls will likely shift to whichever English club the FA wants to see lift the trophy.
