Celebrating 50 years of @airandspace, where tangible aviation history drives tangible aviation innovations! As we also celebrate now more than 250 years of the United States, we reflect on our nation’s great aviation history that provides the building blocks to our aviation system of the future – one that is safer, more efficient and more reliable than ever before. And we’re building it now. 🇺🇸 #Freedom250

We're accelerating the next era of flight! Supersonic aircraft will drastically reduce travel times, and the FAA will safely guide them across the National Airspace System. ✈️💨
Director Michael Kratsios@mkratsios47

For too long, outdated rules based on old technology held back American aerospace innovation. Now, we are updating those rules for the first time since the 1970s. Today @USDOT announced a new proposal to enable civil supersonic flight by replacing speed limits with noise limits, ushering in a new era of safer, quieter, and faster air travel for all Americans. Thank you @SecDuffy and @FAA_Bryan for your leadership in ensuring the future of flight is invented and built in the USA.

Aviation safety is a global effort, and it's always a pleasure to join forces with @EASA to advance our shared goals. As airspace demands evolve, alignment between regulators and industry is critical to fostering innovation and harmonizing safety standards. While we modernize our air traffic control system, we're leveraging automation, machine learning, and real-time data to strengthen safety and identify risks earlier. Looking forward to continue sharing best practices and collaborating with partners to keep our national and global airspace systems safe, resilient, and ready for the future.

The FAA is moving at the speed of Trump as we transform the air traffic control system making it more modern, safer, and smarter and I'm honored to be at the helm of the agency at such a transformational time. I shared @CAPA_Aviation that we're building a system not just for the American flying public, but for all the users of the system - current and future. We're gaining valuable insight from our stakeholders, sharing best practices and shaping the future of aviation. Innovation is driving our transformation, but safety will always be our top priority.

At the FAA Academy, we saw firsthand how our controller hiring campaign is delivering results. Through the fastest and most effective recruitment effort in agency history, we’re training the next generation of air traffic controllers to manage the world’s most complex airspace. ✈️ ✅Over 8,737 have registered for ATSA, and over 7,354 have tested ✅We’re at 73% of the FY26 hiring goal (1,604 onboarded) ✅1,652 have received tentative offer letters ✅Hired 20% more controllers in 2026 than 2024 ✅We're continue to break our previous records and deliver at supercharged speed

I’m proud that this innovative technology and training is occurring in OKC. Thank you @SecDuffy and @FAA_Bryan for investing your time and resources into the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
Rep. Tom Cole@TomColeOK04

Yesterday, I led a hearing, where we collected testimony from @SecDuffy. During the hearing, I utilized some of my time with the Secretary to advocate for the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in OKC. We have the land, the facilities, and a world-class staff in Oklahoma to ensure that air traffic controllers receive in-person, focused, state-of-the-art training. Therefore, I will always fight for the funding the center needs to modernize and expand, while at the same time push back on any effort to decentralize or weaken what we have built there. I'd like to thank Secretary Duffy for the attention he has given to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, as he truly understands what this facility means to the safety of our nation's entire aviation system.
