Firefighters - members of the FBU - have been on the frontline of tackling Storm Babet. Our service needs investment to tackle the growing threats from extreme weather events. The cuts currently being imposed in Scotland need to stop. Immediately.

Firefighters are working round the clock to rescue people from flooding caused by Storm Babet. Our thoughts are with all those affected. Instead of being cut to the bone, our service must be properly equipped to respond to increasing extreme weather.
