We have hedgehogs in the playing fields! (This footage is from Oct) It’s vital that ⁦@EnableParks⁩ stop destroying the wild margins along the perimeter as it’s likely that 🦔 are hibernating and mustn’t be disturbed by pointless strimming! ⁦@HedgehogCabin⁩

I don’t support any slaughter as I’m vegetarian which I suspect you are not. However this is a post about vivisection which you don’t seem to care about at all. A genuine animal lover would applaud any MP trying g to ban it yet you couldn’t care less. Enjoy your ‘happy meat’ 🤡

Animal testing is not incidental suffering. It is systemic, deliberate, and built into the process itself. Science has moved on. We no longer need to rely on cruel animal testing.

Devastating scenes here in Somerset! I am so sad to see my local reedbeds burnt out. Last week I was watching Reed Warblers and Wrens nesting in here. I cannot believe they have been burnt and destroyed during breeding season 😢☹️😞 Diesel was used to start this reckless act.

I photographed the 1st pic yesterday whilst out cycling because it was such a beautiful sight & obviously brilliant for pollinators. Today, it's been sprayed with herbicide & the Dandelions are all wilting! What a shocking waste & another unnecessary bit of land doused in poison.

📢 Volume up! This truck full of unweaned calves was seen heading to @Rosslareuroport this afternoon, over 4 hours before the ferry departure time. They are bawling their heads off, already hungry and stressed. They will have been fed in the morning but it will be at least another 24 hours before they get another feed, if the ferry leaves on time. You can see some calves have weepy eyes and one has signs of diarrhea. Two recent studies have shown that the fitness for transport checks conducted by DAFM vets are wholly inadequate, with large numbers of calves found to have lung damage before, during and after transport. These journeys breach legislation and cause immense harm and suffering 🐮 @BrittanyFerries #StopLiveExport

Getting aside the mistakes - accepting some serious failures of judgement @Keir_Starmer has integrity & a deep sense of serving the country rather than pursuing his own self interest. Those 2 qualities should not be forgotten by his #Labour colleagues. #Starmer needs a fundamental reset, the offer of a clear vision of the country he seeks to change & the offer of hope to voters increasingly sick of all mainstream politicians.
