@thugmajesty7 It's probably the easiest to watch game series on youtube cause tourists are 1. Too scared to play the game, 2. Short and succinct for a playthrough. 3. Haha funny man got jumpscared They never comprehend that RE is the gameplay loop cause they never played.

I'm more so focusing on newer devs because it's probably another level of learning to make facial capture look great and new devs don't have that exp. I'm having a hard time remembering a unity game with great face animation.

i have not been offended by all the slurs i've gotten throw at me for defending the new Resident Evil trailer. I am, however, deeply offended by people accusing me of not having played the games. i didn't play Outbreak when i was like 6 yrs old to be called a tourist

@sawyeurism A lot of these also just watched playthroughs on youtube cause they're short and succinct. They wouldn't really comprehend that the gameplay loop is what made Resident Evil what it is. I like that Cregger is focusing on that.

It's been 24 years of Resident Evil movies and shows doing their own thing. I just want one actual attempt at an accurate adaption man. If it doesn't work out, fine. Atleast we got to see it on the big IMAX screen, just once.

Because it f*cked up everything, yet everyone refers to it like people got their 'accurate adaption' and it was bad because RE1 or 2 doesn't work when adapted faithfully. Therefor to try an accurate adaption again would be foolish because they already did it and it was bad, except they didn't. It wasn't at all faithful or an accurate adaptation. It was a complete hodge podge of games, characters, film fabricated stuff, completely new made up lore and semi game related stuff all mixed into a blender and turned to mush. It's like saying Mortal Kombat fans got their 'accurate and faithful' adaption with Annihilation, therefor proving an adaptation of the games is just a bad idea altogether and would never work.

@FBunansa @NeoGameSpark That's why I agree to begin with. I more meant that your playthrough is special and its easier to imagine that its just "someone elses" adventure. There's plausible detachment. Especially in multi installments. But yeah i can see the environment as the mc.

@BoredFritz KH1 KH2 were awesome but i felt like i needed so many supplementary games to keep up (birth by sleep, chain of memories, etc) hard to keep up. Persona is a goated series but very anime and long if you're not into that. Wolf imo was the GOAT telltale game before Dispatch.

@LiquidxToxic @NeoGameSpark I kinda agree with you but in a different way. I think it's not the self-insert, but the setting that is the main character. Cyberpunk is about Night City, Fallout is about the Wasteland, and if done right, RE can be about Raccoon City.

@NeoGameSpark I agree with you, however cyberpunk and fallout are a narrative that "you" are inserted to, the world lives around "you" regardless if you exist or not, everyone has their own story so its easier to see different stories set in the same place. League is a entirely diff beast tho.
